Love it with NO MAYO!
Just cold lobster, cerery salt, and hot butter on top!! Absolutely delicious!!!
I've made it a point to eat here on my vacation the last two years. Lobster rolls are excellent and full of fresh meat. I also buy extra rolls to take back to our cottage.

It’s the best lobster roll in town. The real deal, not over seasoned, a bit of drawn better. To be super picky, the lettuce had seen better days and sourcing a slightly better bulkie roll would make it best in mass. Don’t let that discourage you. It was well worth it. Come often. Yes you want the jumbo.
Delicious lobster roll! Great easy spot. Love the spicy lobster roll and the andouille.
I’m honestly astounded. I’ve never had better lobster. The staff working there were so nice and welcoming, they prepared our food quickly, and the spicy lobster roll was mind-blowing. One of those that is so good you think about it for days after. It is not cheap (lobster rolls never are) but I cannot recommend it enough if you even have slight interest in lobster. Great experience to say the least!
This has to be the BEST lobster roll I’ve ever had. I got the spicy lobster roll and it was so flavorful and PACKED with lobster. The two girls working were so sweet and meeting them made my day(: keep spreading the positive vibes ladies. I’ll probably come back tomorrow it was that good.
Stopped by after leaving Martha's Vineyard. Cute little stand with picnic tables and ample parking. They weren't making stuffed quahogs, but we got the spicy lobster roll and andouille sausage. The spicy lobster roll was insanely good - the tomatillo adds a freshness and crunch that's better than lettuce, in my opinion. The andouille was also really tasty, and quite a step up from andouille I've had before. The aioli is delicious!
For COVID precautions, everyone had gloves and masks on and there was hand sanitizer.
Stopped by the Barking Claw today because we had errands in Falmouth and looked for something 5 star on Yelp. I was surprised to see it was just a food stand without drinks or bathrooms. Should have checked it out more thoroughly, but I am glad I didn't because we wouldn't have gone and that would have been a serious mistake. I am a purist when it comes to lobster rolls. I cook the fresh lobsters for my rolls and use a little mayo/lemon and salt filled in a toasted hot dog bun with cold lettuce, but I had to try their spice lobster roll. I was prepared to think it was interesting and appreciate it's unique flavor profile, but that was not the case. It was spectacular. Worth driving from Dennis to Falmouth. My husband had the small lobster roll thinking none could be as good as the ones I make at home, but he was very impressed and said it was the best next to mine. The two gals at the stand are very personable and sweet. THIS IS A MUST STOP for lobster roll fans!!!
If you like more than a plain lobster roll, this is a great place to get one. While I enjoy the taste of lobster unadorned with seasoning, I like a little variety as well.
They had a spicy lobster roll which was basically a regular roll topped with a spicy sauce which if I had to guess was mayo, a chill sauce mixed with some celery / pepper / slaw combo. It was tasty.
Good lobster roll. Highly recommend the spicy one, it’s not too spicy. Great service, kind people. Definite must if you are in the area.
Really, really good lawbstah rolls!! Served up by very nice staff!! I prefer the spicy one with a pepper relish while my partner prefers the regular. Lobster meat is fresh and ever so sweet. A Cape Cod treat for sure! 💯💯💯
Whoever said bigger is always better was seriously disturbed. Not a restaurant, not a drive-thru, just a lobster stand on the side of the road with plenty of parking. Barking claw is proof that all you need is high quality food and top-notch service to be successful and that all speaks for itself.
