Texas Roadhouse

Whenever my family does something, or wishes to celebrate, only a few places are brought up, and Texas Roadhouse is at the top, there was a bit of a wait, but that is normal, because the place is just that good. For appetizers, my family orders the tater skins, boneless buffalo wings, and my favorite, the rattlesnake bites. For the main course, I usually get a cheese burger, or the chicken critters. This time, I have of course, gotten the critters, with a loaded baked potato, and apple sauce as my two sides. Delicious and pleasant as always. With so much left overs to spare.

Today was our 2nd visit ever to any Texas Roadhouse. Both the visits were at this location and almost a month apart. Josiah was our server the first time and Paula the second time. I saw Josiah today as well but he didn't recognize me. Josiah was very courteous, helpful and friendly and we loved his service. He even told his manager that it was our first visit who personally came to give us a free appetizer coupon which we wanted to use this time. Paula was mostly indifferent and rarely came to check on us unlike Josiah. We ordered only 1 main course the 2nd time. We are thin people and eat frugally and I guess that bothered our sever. I ordered a beer then to bump up our bill even when I didn't want to. Even when Paula was fine by the end we felt weird the first 30 minutes or so. Anyways, the first time we ordered the herb chicken and the mushroom chicken and this time the smothered chicken. The food overall is good and the restaurant big and mostly nice. The two sides with the main course are plentiful and the complimentary bread awesome. If you want good food for less price, this is the place to be but I hope service is impeccable irrespective of how much food we order.

Service was super from the second we walked in the door until we left. Our server was friendly and entertaining. The food was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. The loaded sweet potato is my favorite. 4/5/2022 - Decided to have an early dinner at Texas Roadhouse (4 pm). We were seated promptly. Our server Miranda was nice; but, holy cow she was pushy. We had just sat down and picked up the menus when she took our drink orders. She immediately wanted to know what we wanted to order. We said we hadn't had a chance to even look at the menu. She got our drinks and came back. Before we were even given the drinks she again asked what do you want to order. We ordered our appetizer and she again insisted on our dinner order. We told her to come back we hadn't decided. She put in our appetizer order and came right back. We gave up ordered our meals and told her we want our appetizer before our meal don't put in our order til we get our appetizer. Yeah right here comes the salads and the chili. Where is the appetizer? 5 minutes later here comes the appetizer 5 minutes after that hey here's your steak. Thanks for rushing us Miranda. We really appreciated it. While our food was delicious it all got cold because we got everything at one time. Way to listen. We really wanted to sit down and enjoy our meal not box it up and take it home.

Waited about 30 mins to be seated for party of 3 on a Friday evening. Appetizers came out super fast: tater skins stayed sizzling hot along with a plate of the shrimp was so tasty. I had a medium well ribeye smothered with sautéed mushrooms and onions with 2 sides: broccoli was soft and string beans. Definitely would go back.

Haven’t been to a Texas Roadhouse in years. This one definitely left a good impression. Especially on the 4th of July when things are busy! Food and service was excellent. My waiter Kaitlyn was excellent. Without missing a beat, delivered everything I needed. Food was quick, hot and tasted good. Steak came out perfect.
