Jack In The Box

To be honest I am a little confused. The mobile app lets you place an order for a restaurant that is already shutting down / closed. Google hours says they are open till midnight tonight. But the store had already turned off their equipment for the night (it's 10pm PST). I want to clarify the staff were amazing and turned everything back on to make my order. Despite having everything already down for the night. The poor rating is due to the app allowing the order to be placed at a store already shut down for the night, not having contact info for support in the app. And for not having cancellation requests for the order available after hitting the "prepare my food" button. Most people will hit the "prepare food" button on apps that use this feature right before pulling into the drive so they can just hop in line, grab, and go. But this approach of removing the cancel order option entirely after hitting the button seems to punish those that do this only to find out that they can't be served. I implore the devs to please either: 1: disable online ordering once a store starts shutting down. OR 2. Adding a contract source in the app for people who hit the button only to find that they could not get their order.

Update: (25APR22)Paid for this order via the official Jack in the Box app. When we went to pick it up Alejandro (manager on duty) had an attitude and said that he didn't care that we paid on the app. That Jack in the Box didn't have an app. Essentially calling us liars even though we had email and app confirmation. Then he told us if we have a problem we can call corporate. I guess being rude and closing early is a part of the training to being a manager. Store closed 45 min early on Friday, March 25. Then closed two hours early on Saturday, March 26th. Both days were supposed to be open until midnight.
