Modern pontes bakery lost a customer today. I had my daughter get bread like I do every Sunday but today we needed water too so I asked her to get a case of water they charged her $40 for a case of 40 of water that is outrageous they charge for a case 1.00 for every bottle in the case. That is called price gouging and it's illegal! I'm reporting this bakery to the better business bureau. If you sell water by the case you have to price it by the case not by every individual bottle. Modern pontes bakery are a bunch of thief's and rip offs!!

Very nice bakery located on Rodman St. They have Portuguese rolls that are very good and priced well. If you like them baked soft on the inside with a flaky crust. They do this perfectly.
