Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

I love Cheddar's and this was my first time at this location. Usually go to Columbia or Springfield. The reason why I gave a 4 star instead of 5, because I did a curbside order and they forgot one of the items. Unfortunately we lived 30 minutes away so couldn't turn back around. Called the manager and they said they would mail me a gift card. Overall food is really good and prices very reasonable! My favorite drink is the pain killer!! Recommend if you want a really good drink!

Very disappointing experience. We just moved here and have been to two other Cheddar’s restaurants before; one in Oklahoma and one in Ohio. They were great...this one was not. Our wait time was almost double what we were told. The waitress was very nice. The food was absolutely horrible. My wife’s chicken fried steak was covered in way too much batter. Same for my chicken tenders and shrimp. One big clump of fried batter was on my plate too. I though it was a tender, but nope! We will not be going back!

Don't usually go to Cheddars but, thought we give it a try..we waited at the host stand to put our names down..the girl huffed and took our names, we told her wanted to sit in the bar area, we were told 30 mts and to wait for a text... then she said I will get a table ready for you now. We waited and waited, 2 ladies that were leaving said we didn't have to wait for the bar area and to just go in there which we did it was practically empty and the three high top tables were empty but not cleared... we stood and waited told the lady behind the bar we wanted to sit there and she said ok I have to clear the table....after several minutes the table was cleared... since we were in no hurry we didn't mind the wait but it did take a long time for our drinks and even more for our food. The employee behind the bar was running crazy--making drinks, answering the phone, clearing tables, taking orders, serving and doing pick up orders....you just opened for dine in, if you didn't have enough staff you should not have opened...she had no help..

First time here and we were very happy with our meal. Our service was a little slow, but not enough to change my rating. Atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. The food was delicious. We all had drinks and they were very reasonably priced and in large glasses. Manager came out and talked with us and was as comedic as he was nice. Our waiter Mike did a great job, even with all our request for more napkins, straws...etc.

The accomodations made to the restaurant are absolutely beautiful. Not only is social distancing exhibited effectively, but the menu items have been reduced to cater to individuals' tastes and to reduce the chance for infection. Plus, the place has great potatoes no matter what your potato preference is. I love a restaurant that can keep me safe and satisfy my cravings.
