Hibachi Xpress

I don't know what they changed about their recipe, but it tastes awful now. Up until a few months ago, it was consistently delicious and my favorite place to get lunch from. Now there's hardly any sauce, hardly any chicken, and what sauce there is isn't great. Even the veggies and yum yum sauce taste gross . Most of my noodles were plain this time except what was directly under the sparse amount of chicken. Nowhere near worth the cost and so disappointing since it used to be on par with Wasabi's hibachi.

This is the BEST hibachi spot in Akron area. I gone to quite a few around town but once I discovered Thais one about 1 year ago I never went back to the others. The food has never been cold, overcooked, and my order has never been wrong. The the taste is always on point!! Staff has always been professional. I will drive across town just to get my food from here. LOVE it!!! Try the bourbon chicken.. it’s my favorite 😍

Today was my first time ordering from this place and needless to say, I will never order from this place again. Here’s what went wrong: 1st: The lady that answered the phone told me that I called the wrong place when I knew for a fact that I ordered from them. 2. I told her I requested Yum sauce and she said I didn’t. Ma’am it’s literally written on my container and my receipt. What do you mean? 3. She then proceeds to argue that she’s 100% sure that she put it in my container with my food. But you didn’t… Then she says my UberEats driver must’ve taken it. Why would a driver still yum yum sauce?! Seriously?! I’m not wasting my gas to go get something that should’ve been with my order to begin with. I’d overlook the sauce issue if the food was actually good, but it isn’t . It’s dry. Drier than my ankles in the winter time. I’m sorry. I hate to leave bad reviews, but I’d think twice before ordering from here.

I don't like to give poor reviews, but this time I'm pretty disappointed. I waited about 30 minutes at the restaurant after a 15 minute drive but it was dinner time and clearly they were buried in orders. My food came up and I'm looking at my ticket, fried rice substitute for noodles. I've got noodles. I mentioned it and the clerk wants to argue with me I'm supposed to get noodles. Did not offer to get me rice. I'm not going to stand here and argue.
