I hadn’t been to McDonald’s for so long. It wasn’t because I didn’t want to go. I’ve desperately wanted to go ever since I was a child. Unfortunately, as I grew up I started to learn the truth about McDonald’s. It wasn’t good for me, even though I was lovin it. I was always happy eating the happy meal, but after I learned the truth, that happiness would turn into guilt/shame as soon as the meal was over. Is it worth it to be happy from a happy meal, while knowing that same happy meal will eventually make me sad? For a while the answer to that question was “no”. It wasn’t until recently that “no” turned into a “maybe”.
I was on a road trip and we decided to stop at McDonald’s. I was excited because my childhood dreams were coming true, but I was also nervous about the guilt I might feel later. I ordered large fries and a McFlurry. After having a bite of McDonald’s for the first time in years, it reminded me of why I fell in love with it in the first place. It tasted like what nostalgia would taste like if it had a taste.
As the meal was coming to an end, I started to dread the possible guilt I was about to feel. I waited and waited, but it never came. I have finally found a way to eat McDonald’s guilt free! I need to only have it on special or desperate occasions...or both. I had no other choice, but to eat this delicious food. I was on a road trip for goodness sake! I was so grateful to have this great excuse that shielded me from any possible guilt I typically get from McDonald’s. McDonald’s taught me that sometimes excuses and guilt can be good. Without excuses I’d never eat at McDonald’s and without guilt I’d always eat there.

I have to give this rating since the people attending at the time of my visit were new hires. Only noticed this after more than 2 people have to come to complete my order. I did order online with my app so I was there just to pick a drink up. After waiting about 10 minutes I asked about my order. The person in the register answer with a I do not know" please ask over there" sending me to the other side of the bar. Than another person came to the front register and asked what was the problem. But, he was not able to answer either. Finally the manager came and after seeing my phone went to the coffee station and made my frappe. Unfortunately, customer service skills cannot be trained. This is something that has to be in the person's blood.
Good luck with the new hires and patience to all the McDonald's regular customers.
For now, I am just going to another locations to get my orders made.

It was very nice to have the opportunity to visit a McDonald's restaurant that was totally Halal. First one I have ever been to. Great food, great customer service, great prices!!

Nothing bad. Nothing amazing. It is fast food. Don't expect anything to write home about. It's plain, as all McDonalds food is.

Its fast food, what do you expect. My order was correct that is my highest expectation.

It's McDonald's! Besides that they have great seating away from the front counter and quick to get your meal out.
