Even better then expected. Being from san antonio tx it surprised me how delicious the food was. It was so much to choose from on the menu i wish i was in town for more days id eat there 3 time a day.....no exaggeration. The fried chicken and chicken wings were awesome I couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff was so helpful and friendly it felt like I was back home in the family kitchen... will be coming back to this place every time in California.

The bird is fire. No lie...it stayed hot until the last bite. Flavor on point! Nice and moist. Took Momma Queen for lunch and we had the chicken & waffles. Food was so good had her giggling and singing. The staff is hospitable and warm. Makes you feel like you've known them for years. Great food and great customer service! What else can you ask for.

HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for freshly prepared, quality food in a super friendly atmosphere. We had to ask for a to go container because we couldn't finish our meal. Chicken and waffles EXCEEDED my expectations My ALABAMA born husband loved the Granny Greens and cornbread and wants to go back to try the red beans and rice .
