Jamaica Mon

Had lunch at Jamaica Mon on a Friday afternoon around 1pm. We sat at the bar initially for a drink then over to a booth for our meal. Rikki (aka Stereo) made my fiancee a perfect strawberry margarita. I had a jerk chicken sandwich and my fiancee had the oxtail. Stereo waited on our table, tended to patrons at the bar, took incoming phone orders and dealt with walk-in orders all at the same time ALL BY HERSELF! The food and service were both great and we can't wait to come back again! 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First of all, the brown sugar limeade was one of the best drinks I've ever had! All the natural juices were delish, but, that was the best. The greens, rice and peas, and oxtails were yummy. The portion sizes were a steal for the price. Our server was the best. She let us sample the juice and was patient with us. Great customer service! If you need to know if you should patronize...go!

Best ever! Rice&beans, collard greens seasoned with smoked Turkey, and jerk chicken.Oh and don't forget the sorrel drink and the pineapple mango drink. Large portions, too.whenever I am in the area, I have to have me some of their food. Staff is friendly the place is very clean. And the price is right.this is a 60 mile trip for me, and it's worth the trip and price .

This place came highly recommended. I took my wife and we really enjoyed the food. "Jamaica Mon" has the best Jamaican food I have eaten in years. Everything is made fresh to order I had the curry chicken and goat along with cabbage and carrots with a side of plantains. My wife had the chicken and bowtie pasta and I have to taste it it was delicious also. I give Jamaica Mon two thumbs up and a high five for bringing the quality. And the service, well let me say it "Great". Had a nice crowd of people. The staff still made you feel special almost like going over to someone in your families house. They treat you like a VIP.

The food is really good. My husband and I ordered two veggie patties,a veggie burger,the veggie stew,sides we ordered plantains,fries,and pasta salad. We would definitely get the veggie stew, the burger and the veggie patties again. Also the brown sugar lemonade is delicious. My only complaint is that the wait was a little too long; almost an hour. Not sure if that's the usual wait time or they were just short-staffed but I would definitely Order ahead of time next time.

I arrived at 10:45 last night. I drove 45 minutes in the snow and ice. I received exceptional service. The owner allowed to taste samples. All of the juices are good especially the hibiscus. The stew chicken, cabbage and carrots and greens and turkey meat are very delicious. I will get the jerk chicken next time. The prices are reasonable for the amount of what's offered for each combo. I had leftovers. I can't wait to go back! Glad to have this restaurant in the city!

Delicious food, affordable prices...great atmosphere and very friendly people!!! Will definitely be eating there again very soon! The curry chicken and brown stew chicken was amazing! I also had Roti which is made to order and I absolutely loved it!! My fiance had oxtail which he said was delicious as well!
