I've heard people rave about Cheestique, and just given the name alone, I had high hopes for this place. However, I found it a little underwhelming, especially given the price for each item.
My friend and I came here for lunch and we shared a French onion soup, lobster mac and cheese, and the brie pearsciutto grilled cheese. Of the three dishes, I'd say the French onion was probably the best.
The lobster mac and cheese had a very fishy taste to it and not much flavor. On the other hand, the prosciutto in the grilled cheese was heated to make it "crispy" as per its description, but this only created a gamey taste. Also, the saltiness of the prosciutto followed by the funky taste of the brie completely overpowered the flavor of the sliced pear. The honey drizzle helped a little bit in balancing the salty and funky taste of the prosciutto and cheese, but it didn't do enough to save the sandwich. For a $50 lunch, I'd say this was a rather disappointing meal.
The only redeeming part of this whole experience was the atmosphere of the restaurant. I loved the cozy, diner-like vibe it had and especially appreciated the old school tunes it played from Sinatra to the Beatles. But we don't go to restaurants to enjoy just the ambiance. The food is what's most important and I'd say Cheestique's food is subpar. I probably won't come here again.

If you love cheese this is the place for you. I ordered the lobster Mac, and my wife had the cheesetique Mac. I enjoyed hers over mine. The flavors were better than the lobster Mac..... my opinion. The charcuterie plate was good along with the dessert flight. Our daughter had the grilled cheese. There was more cheese on the plate than the sandwich. It fell out because they cut the sandwich before it gets to the table. It worked out okay, because the cheese was rich. The less the better. We did leave with a bottle of moscato. The staff was nice and welcoming. Overall, not a bad first time experience.

The food is good. The service and atmosphere is friendly. I've tried their brunch and lunch. My favorite sandwich (well, I haven't tried the others) is the Sassy Goat. Their mac and cheese is good, but of note it has a strong flavor. The tater tots poutine were good. The French toast was good, though I wouldn't go there for the French toast. French onion soup was good. Tomato soup was good. Their cheesecake is really good. Their grits cakes were tasteless to me, and I don't think I'd order them again.
They often have free samples. I tried their pimiento with cherry tomato and a cracker. It was a nice extra.
I've gone to the mosaic location two times this month. Today, the power went out in the entire Mosaic District, near the tail end of our dining. The staff was very accommodating and provided everyone with a free champagne glass. I look forward to going back. ... and I hope they were able to restore their power quickly.

If you like cheese, this is a place to experience it. The favors are immense and perfect, and all of it drips with sharp and creamy cheesy perfection. Great wine selection and interesting cocktails, too.

This was my first time at Cheesetique and I enjoyed it. The ambience is playful with pictures.of Generals riding cows instead of horses and the like. Our waiter, Drew, was excellent. He frequented by to check in but wasn't overbearing. He offered suggestions and was quick in bringing food when it was ready. They have a good selection of wine and offer flights. Their fondue of the day (a white cheddar) was delicious and I enjoyed their french onion soup. I also had the Brie and Pearscuttio sandwich which wasn't my favorite only because the brie overpowered the other flavors unless you added the honey which then made the sandwich too sweet. Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely plan to go again and try their mac 'n cheese!

Just had an amazing dinner here with my family. We were served by an amazing waitress who was extremely enthusiastic about the food helped reccomend and explain a number of dishes. We started with really great cheese plate and cheese fondue appetizers, and finished with pretty solid Mac & Cheese. It was a very good experience.

Had the steak & blue cheese medium cooked. It was pretty darn good I'll tell you. As good as it looks in the picture actually. I extremely recommend.

My wife and I celebrated a late Valentine's Day here and we could not be happier with both the food and the service. Our waitress was very kind and attentive and the food arrived very quickly. We have dined at another Cheesetique but will be visiting this one from now on as the restaurant is much less cramped and is light and bright with big windows. We will be back soon for some more amazing fondue!
