Patti's Pitas-A Middle Eastern Eatery across from the Sugarmans Plaza in Eynon, PA This was my first time trying Middle Eastern Food and I'm not gonna lie, I was a little hesitant; but I'm all about trying new foods so I went for it. Let me just say, IT'S AWESOME! From Handmade Pitas to Balakwa, Patti's brings a whole new taste to NEPA and don't fret Plant Eaters there's a menu for you too with a many Vegan and Vegetarian options to choose from. ✌🏻 Just like their name, Pattis is most famous for their fluffy soft pitas that are made on site and even Patti herself traveled to the Middle East and learned how to make them from scratch for 6 months. They are my new addiction. I ordered the Turkish Hummus topped with Picante and Sweet Onions, Jalapeño Peppers, and Parsley in a Tomato Paste served with freshly made Pita Bread. Israeli Salad Served with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, salt, pepper, a zest of lemon and olive oil, this dish is great packed into Pitas or consumed by itself. I enjoyed this Salad because I am a huge fan of cilantro and the herb really comes through in every bite. Colorful, Cheap, and a Crowd Favorite, you can't go wrong with the Israeli Salad Patti's Pitas serves Middle Eastern Cuisines made from scratch such as their Bourekas; Golden Puff Pastries baked and stuffed with your choice of Potatoes, Mushrooms & Onions, or Pizza. As you can see we opted for Pizza because I'm a big fan of Puff Pastry and Pizza I couldn't resist the two combined. Perfection. 👌🏻 Try the Vegan Burger from Patti's Pitas Charred, Baked, and Delicious- It's made with chickpeas, sun dried tomatoes, ginger and more with a drizzle of tahini sauce. This is "a full meal from Mother Nature." Served with a side of Middle Eastern Rice and Homemade Pitas. Also pictured Israeli Potato Salad: rich and creamy with onions, peas, carrots, eggs, and tuna. Have you ever tried Baklawa ? It's a delicious, gooey, Middle Eastern Dessert made and served at Patti's Pitas in Eynon, PA. This decadent treat reminded me of a mix between Pecan and Apple Pie. Sweet, Authentic, and a Great Choice for a snack on the go, or a dessert to pair with some tea or coffee. Smothered in Syrup & Nuts and layered with Buttery Golden Flakes, You won't find Baklawa anywhere else in NEPA this good; Trust me. So if you're looking for Middle Eastern food that's Authentic Fresh and Healthy at a good price, head up the Eynon and Enjoy! Pick Up and Dine In Location: 605 Scranton Carbondale Hwy on Rte 6 Eynon, PA 18403 (570)798-PITA (7482) Tuesday-Sunday 11:00am-9:00pm Delivery Options from Carbondale to Scranton and anywhere in between.

The food here is spectacular! Every bite literally makes my mouth water. The service is great and you get lots of food for your money! Best Baclava I've had in years! I had the Schnitzel and I couldn't have chosen better! Coming back way more often!

Fresh authentic ingredients and preparation with generous portions. The counter service is friendly and helpful. Some of the side dishes are the best I have had in middle eastern restaurants. The pita bread is substantial, chewy and tasty, and holds up better than other pitas or wraps. The lemonade is special and refreshing.

The Pitas are light and fluffy and over the moon delicious. I've traveled in the Middle East and the best pita I've ever eaten is in Eynon, PA. I had a falafel pita and my son had a chicken schnitzel. I will be back often! Really excellent authentic mid eastern food. It's not fancy but well appointed and comfortable. Counter service for good orders. Would be great for a fun, casual dinner if it were only a BYOB.

This was my first visit, as this is a new restaurant. I visited on a Thursday at 11:30am. I didnt quite know what to expect based off the name, as I've never eaten a pita. There were no customers in the restaurant ahead of me, but there must of been a call in order or someone outside, as there were other orders being prepared and waiting. The gal that greeted me was kind enough to explain anything I asked, but a smile would of warmed her interaction quite a bit. I ordered a beef schwarma pita, to-go, for $9.00. If you're just after my food review: the pita was fresh. The meat was smothered in some greenish sauce or seasoning. The meat I received in my pita was mostly fatty. The white sauce on top, I assume is supposed to be like a taziki sauce, is very mild flavored. Overall it wasn't terrible but I think I'll try something else next time. The beef schwarma pita is close to what I would call a Gryo, just in a pita pocket rather than a flat bread. While I waited for my food 4 more orders (7 people) came in. It took about 10 minutes or so to get my order. One of the customers after me asked what the soup of the day was and there wasn't any available yet. I'm not sure what time they open, but I feel that 11:30 is the start of the lunch rush and they should of been prepared ahead of time. This same customer also ordered the Krembo desert and took the last two. Maybe they're still feeling out the supply and demand but it's something to note. If this business is going to publish a little mission statement (in their printed menu) and claim to be a "vibrant, warm, and friendly atmosphere by employees who have a passion for true service and their customers" I'd focus on improving this. First impression is that this place is slapped together quickly and rather cheaply. Mismatched and wobbly furniture, the building front is dirty and needs a cleaning, and the staff needs to work on at least smiling a little. Overall, I'd give this place a try again. Especially since I know they are new and may still be figuring things out.

I have eaten in several greek and other Mediterranean style resturants in my travels, and I must say the menu is wide and varied with pita bread at it's base. Greek, Turkish, Lebenon , Israeli, Egypt, Morocco, are just some of the dishes represented there. What impressed me was a hostess who explain without hesitation the menu, and rice pilaf the was light fluffy and we'll prepared as was the remainder of my meal.

Service was a little weird but I can't say it was bad. Food was good. Loved the falafel. The seafood salad was too dry which was a bummer. Dad this location has closed
