When my girlfriend called they hung up on her before she finished placing the order so she had to call back. Upon picking the food up, the gentleman was unfriendly as if our business wasn't even wanted. The food itself was OK up until we cut open a steamed dumpling and raw pork slimed out of it. With such high prices you'd think the food would at least be cooked. There are much better Chinese places in the area so there's no reason to spend your money at this one.

We came back to give it a second try since our first visit was disappointing on the service side but the tasty food draw me back to see if service was better, besides all the restaurants nearby were closed due to the snow storm. Anyway, the service has gotten better. We were greeted by an English speaking gentleman who promptly sat us. The waitress/ manager was most helpful. She was very attentive to our needs and actually remembered us from our last visit, which was over a month ago. The dry pepper chicken wings were screaming good with a spicy kick. Dandan noodle was also a good dish if you like it hot and spicy. My girls can't handle spicy food so they got the Shanghai steam pork buns, pan fried dumplings, scallion pancakes and veggie fried rice. All were good and best of all no food allergies, which my girls are prone to at other Chinese restaurants. It's great to have an authentic Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. The food is top notch and is great change from the typical. We'll have to come back and try some of their other dishes. Keep up with the consistent good service and the food will do the rest!

Mama Wong makes delicious dishes! The staff is very friendly and the decor is cute. It is BYOB and there is plenty of parking. Reservations are not required, but I recommend them if you are arriving after 6PM during the weekend. The prices are a little expensive, but worth it, as you will not leave hungry and have enough to take home. There are vegetarian options. And if you let them know you are GF, they will make accommodations.

It give me terrible bubble guts. Food was rubbery and definitely not cooked. The watery substance it comes in is suspect. Only have time to write this review since I am on the toilet from eating here. Mama Wong, why you do me wrong?!

Great authentic (homestyleish) dishes. Really well done taste and flavoring. Attention to detail of food textures and presentation. Friendly service and waitstaff. Went during lunchtime on a Friday and the kitchen kept up nicely with the full house.

Made reservation, showed up on time and our table was ready, great; then everything went down hill. We waited for 15 minutes and finally we waved down someone to take our orders. We ordered soup dumplings and pan fried dumplings. The soup dumplings were pretty good but the pan fried dumplings had thick skins and the fillings were tough. We ordered 4 entrees. Three of them came and we were told that the Walnut Shrimp is going to take a little longer. We waited and waited, and we pretty much finished all the other dishes and there's still no Walnut Shrimp. We waved down another waiter and told him to forget about it. No one had checked on us during the entire time. Terrible service. The manager finally showed up after we got our bill and she comped us a piece of chocolate cake. It seems there's issues both in the dinning room and the kitchen. However, the restaurant decor is nice and clean. There's plenty parking spaces. The food in general is decent but the prices are a little higher than other Chinese restaurants in the area. If they address all the above mentioned issues, they could be around for a while.

They have real Chinese food here, including the best Mapo Tofu I've ever had. It was the perfect balance between numb and spicy; it made me warm without burning my mouth. The Jasmine tea was great and a million times better than the classic Chinese restaurant tea, and the soup dumplings were well made and perfect with a little bit of soy sauce.

It was all Wrong, not Wong, for our first visit here, which was on a Friday night. Service was extremely haphazard and slow. We waited 15 minutes before the waiter came by, then he brings us two glasses of hot water, and not as if for tea, but actually two drinking glasses filled with hot water. That’s a first for me. He said he misheard us, and then it was another 10 minutes just to get water. If they had some orderly process and common sense, these things wouldn't happen. My wife’s beef with broccoli was excellent but it was served 20 minutes after we ordered, which was 45 minutes into our visit at this point, but then I had to wait another 30 minutes for my General Tso’s chicken. And then the waiter never once checked on us. I was about to leave $20 on the table for the beef with broccoli but just then my food came out. It was good but entirely too sweet. Overall, the food was about 4 stars but the service was 0 stars. I expected so much more for the higher prices. I hope they fix their issues, because this service sucked!! I might go back in a couple months to see if they work out the kinks but I’m not in a hurry. Or I might stick to trying carry out only, as the food was good.
