Longhorn Steakhouse

Service was excellent. Ribs were tender with a sweet BBQ sauce. Broccoli was cooked perfectly and mashed potatoes were flavorful. My friends steak was medium rare, exactly as ordered. Their version of fried onion was awesome. More than enough food was served and we each brought food home. The only downside was I ordered the berry sangria and received a white peach with too much ice for the price. I wasn't going to send it back as it was tasty. Thus, only 4 of 5 stars.

The food here is excellent. I was talking to the bartender and he said that they operate at a 50 percent food cost (most restaurants operate at a 20 percent food cost. That means that the quality of the food is amazing... which it is. Honestly the most cost effective fine dining you will ever stumble across. Definitely my favorite chain restaurant hands down. 100 times better than Outback.

Rib eye steak was tender, juicy, & so delicious. Loaded baked potato and broccoli was perfectly cooked. You can't beat a salad with strawberries, mandarins, pecans, and chicken topped with raspberry vinaigrette. Our waiter, Chris, swapped a side salad for broccoli with pleasure. Could not have been happier. Table was perfectly clean, bread was freshly baked, glasses were strong and sturdy need I go on! LOVED IT! Sons paid the bill! It was our 46th anniversary! ...

I have never had a less than awesome experience in the almost 12 years we've been coming to the Exton Longhorn. However last night was different. The Good: We were seated right away and our server Kylie had just the right amount of perk! Service was very good. The Not So Good: I love to order the Seven Pepper Sirloin Entree Salad (without the 7 seasonings). The slices of steak were perfectly done (med.rare) and delicious. But the mixed greens were something else. The only greens in the salad were, I believe, cuts of the tough center stalks of Romaine. No other young leaves of Spinach, Arugula etc. I pushed most of it to the side. Oh please don't say you've ruined my favorite salad. 🥺

Posted about this chain before. Excellent as the norm here. Consistent dishes prepared wonderfully even with changes in kitchen staff. Wilmington location location is well managed. Staff is reasonably maintained. Our server this time was not up to the quality of our last server who was over-the-top at his "profession". This server was ok but lacked any enthusiasm for her job and provided only adequate service. Reception this time was managed by two nieve younger women. A little unqualified in skills to manage their tasks. All in all a very good meal in a nice atmosphere.

In my many years or going to Longhorn they never disappoint! With satisfactory wait staff and excellent food you always leave happy! Their menu has a wide menu that accommodates vegetarian options and easy kids meals! Their desert and appetizers are highly recommended as they contribute greatly to the Longhorn dining experience!
