Wendy's

Well fourth time yer out. This place has friendly teenage staff and some good folks for sure... but then the food itself gets dicey. Order anything other than a junior bacon cheeseburger and be prepared for a surprise meal. I’ve ordered small salads and been charged for large. I’ve order chicken sandwiches and gotten beef. I’ve order sandwiches that are supposed to come on special buns with sauce, cheese, carmalized onion, and bacon... only to get tomato and lettuce... gosh the disappointment when I get the order home cuz I’m not going to drive 15 minutes out of my way to have the staff do it right. Sigh. It’s fine. It’s just a little disappointing. Anyway, double check your order in the parking lot before you drive off. They’ve even forgot to include sandwiches altogether in my orders before. I know y’all are working in weird times though, and I appreciate that you guys are out there getting us sandwiches. I know you can do better.

This place is my favorite Wendy's! It's small town - they don't have any of the robotic order taking systems and the staff turns over quite frequently - but it's very consistently good. there's just a general happy vibe in this place - it seems like it might be under new management recently or they recently hired some upper management that have improved the quality standards here. I can tell that because of the surly teenagers who look like they're being micromanaged. Hang in there first timers! this experience confirmed the basis for an excellent chapter in your memoir in the future when we don't have physical books anymore!
