First time eating at Cafe Zippy today. I got there at maybe 10:15, and I was the only customer, which I love. It was beautiful and cloudy and rainy, so I sat outside with Bowie, the sweet restaurant dog, and got in some cuddles while waiting for my food. They have a ton of vegan options, so I ordered a bunch of stuff ("tuna" salad, nori rolls, biscuits and gravy, salads, etc.), and everything so far has been really good, but the artichoke/pesto sandwich was amazing and now one of my favorite foods. It's a very cute restaurant on a cute residential street, and I'll definitely be going back when I'm in Everett. UPDATE: Dropped from five to three starts because I realized that some staff don't know what vegan is. I for sure was given something that wasn't vegan on my first visit, and only found out because when I went back, the owner/manager (not sure if she's the actual owner) gave me a different bread for the exact same sandwich, which apparently was the only vegan sandwich-bread option. So I'll never trust going here again.

This is a really nice place. They are charged .35 cents per card transaction, and they give you the option to pay it which is nice (but most places don't charge a fee if your total is over $5 and mine was $16... I don't know...) I like their mixed plates and dishes, gives it that home feeling. The furniture inside and out is really nice and homey also. I had the roast beef wrap and organic Mango drink. The drink was awesome. The wrap was really good and everything they put on it tasted so well together. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because there was so little roast beef. I'd say it only made up 1/8 of the wrap. They should add another slice because in my opinion meat should make up at least 1/4 of the wrap. Now I don't think there's a thing called "too much cheese" but some people might say they put too much shredded sharp cheddar. Over all I would still come back here to try other dishes although it is a bit on the pricey side. But that's to be expected considering the neighborhood its in and their usual clientele.

A fun little cafe. I came in to do a little work and chill. When I came in I was greeted by a chipper fellow who told me the espresso machine isn't working well and so they couldn't do hot drinks or espresso. That was fine with me as it was already too late for coffee for me! I ordered an iced chai instead. They make their chai in house! It's a spicy chai which I loved, it was very tasty and not overly sweetened like most chai's. The atmosphere is a bit busy, a lot going on in there. They also serve beer, wine and kombucha along with pastries and some food options.

Service was a little slow but understandable with the new recent COVID restrictions. My vegan sister loved her menu options and there was also things on the menu everyone else enjoyed. My salmon bagel was great, with fresh red bell pepper. I was surprised how reasonable the prices for the food was considering the area. The atmosphere was also relaxed and inviting. I will be back, this place is a gem.

Our fav roots, shoots, and greens stop. The creative energy is strong at Cafe Zippy! Art, music, games, great culinary, and now brews and wines come together for a comfy, neighborhood experience. Wonderful fresh soups, salads, grilled sandwiches, vegan choices, and tons of options for gluten free. My fav is the gluten free waffle with nuts and berries, eaten on the summertime patio!

Went yesterday for a work meeting. Staff were accomodating and super friendly. Had breakfast burrito which I'll have again with an individually brewed iced tea. For dessert had a warmed cinnamon bun and a pour over coffee. This place is legit.

Comfy, quirky atmosphere was a plus. The greek wrap was pretty good but small for the price. My wife's waffle was good homemade batter but they took the time to cut all the strawberries while leaving on the leaves. Is that just on-brand for the vibe they are trying to achieve? No one wants that...

The salads were good, the smoked salmon bagel was great. Took 40 mins for one salad and a bagel though and they forgot 1/3 of the order. Was the food okay, yeah. Was it worth $50 and a full hour, no. Nifty little place though
