Our favorite place to get to-go Chinese from! I’m always getting the Mongolian Beef or Sweet & Sour Chicken. Sweet & Sour Pork is good too. If you get it off the lunch special you get half entree, half rice, which is a perfect meal for one (if you’re pretty hungry) or a great small meal for two. My boyfriend loves the Gender Tso chicken. The staff is always friendly, even if it takes a minute for them to notice you standing in the front.

We visited Hunan Palace because I was having a nostalgic craving for almond fried chicken and a Google search showed it on their menu. I ordered the combination plate that comes with almond chicken and sweet and sour pork. The almond chicken was OK, but not as good as I remember it from the distant past. It might have been better if they hadn't left out the almonds. If your preference in Chinese food is the highly Americanized Cantonese style that was popular in the 1960s, you will probably enjoy Hunan Palace.

Visited Hunan palace restaurant for a birthday lunch and had a very bad experience. Asked for water, never got it. Asked for fortune cookies never got any. Not busy at all with only 1 other table occupied. Did not set well when the other table had everything we asked for. The place had an odor of mold/mildew and did not seem to be very clean. To top it off I was presented the bill and she took my card and returned with an additional $18 added to it. Said she made mistake. I used to like that place but will NEVER go there again. Absolutely the worst service of any restaurant I have gone to in my life. I’d go to McDonalds before going back there.

Definitely decent Chinese food! Service could be slow--perhaps they are understaffed. But the lady was very friendly, refilled water, and brought tasty food.

Absolutely terrible food & totally incompetent service. We were staying in a hotel close by. Which I provide the name of & room number.I requested on the online delivery order to include plate’s & cutlery, hot mustered & soy sauce. NONE was is the bag.The pork fried rice (at least that’s what I ordered) had small strips of some sort of gray meat, had no taste & was the consistency of paste. The beef kabob also had no taste & was like trying to rip rubber off a stick with your teeth! The sauce for the lemon chicken was BROWN & had NO lemon flavor ar all. And all of this for the SPECIAL price of $67.00!!! What a fricken joke!

Excellent food - total satisfaction in every possible way! Walking distance from Delta hotel, across the street from Denny’s, this place is a true hidden gem. Clean well lit interiors, friendly but unobtrusive staff take your order quickly and efficiently. Fragrant jasmine tea on the house is a plus. In addition to standard fare, this place has good selection of seafood and other chef’s specials that are worth exploring. My three seafood sizzling platter was delightfully flavorful, very well presented with excellent quality shrimp, scallops and fish.

As a restaurant they aren't the best. The place smells of mold instead of food. The service is non existent in the dining area. They do karaoke Friday and Saturday nights that are fun though.
