Was in Chicago for the day figured we'd stop since we haven't had it since Florida the place was pretty slow same as the service. We ordered two burgers two fries two shakes very reasonably priced at $20 except we got our food and waited about 8 more minutes for our shakes when I approach the manager asking if we were going to get our shakes he said yes she's working on them then he proceeded to go back there and make my shakes for me because guess what they weren't made

I made the mistake of dining in with my son. The quality is so much less than I remember... Flat soda and overworked employees doing their very best (the only saving grace). Dining area wasn't very clean and the burgers just didn't taste as good as the last time I ate here during the early days of the pandemic. It tasted like much lower quality meat.

Great Burgers and Shakes Hot Dogs Taste Swell when you Get One that's Not Soaking in The Juices A Long Time and When You Bite Into It 'Fowl Water Blues'.... My Only Beef is Long Soaked Dogs and Over The Top Grease Soaking The Bags Dripping Wet Burgers. YET When You Get The Good Cheese Burger that's Made Just Right... I'll Drive 10 Miles Outta My Way.... Worth It!!

I knew good Steak n Shakes could exist. It literally feels chef driven right now. I’m now incredibly addicted to the triple steak burger. The way they smash the burger thin so it becomes a crispy meat sheet on the edges 💁🏽‍♂️ It is a line worth waiting it every time.

2 stars because the hamburger was pretty good. Chocolate shake was awful. Tasted bad and was melted the moment it was handed to us. Pretty sure its just generic choclate syrup flavoring. Didn't bother asking for it to be fixed because the staff was visibly upset to be there. Ketchup and mustard is only available by request. Upon request employees argued about who would get it.

Sadly, I can't give a better review. Their Coke didn't taste like Coke and their $5.00 butterfinger shake hardly had any butterfinger chunks in it. The "chunks" were actually smaller than pebbles and, basically, non-existent. The Frisco melt was better and fries just alright. Oh, well. It's par for the course these days. 🤷‍♀️

Had a long and rough day. Went through the drive-thru and somehow COMPLETELY missed the speaker and skipped straight to the window you pay at. Ariana was the cashier and she was so patient, kind, and gentle, and doesn’t even realize how much better she made my day.
