Yeero Revolution

This is probably the most unique "Yeero" (gyro) restaurant in the Chicago area. Most Greek fast food or fast casual places in the area use Kronos for their meat, which is good but when most places are using that it doesn't make for the most unique experience. Yeero Revolution on the other hand, has several different meats that don't use any binders or ground meat. It's similar to shawarma and tastes fresh and more authentic than Kronos. They have Angus beef & lamb (my fav), chicken, pork belly (honestly where can you get this in a gyro in this area?), and pork and chicken skewers. The yeero's come with fries or you can sub in rice instead. Their house made tzatziki is great and so are their yogurt and pitas. Overall it's a great place. Highly recommend.

Wow, we had a great dinner last night here. First, the place is super new, clean and modern. It's a cozy space with just a few tables and counters but it wasn't crowded when we came and found seating easily. Now, let's talk about the yeeros. Wow. I had the pork belly and it was amazing. Super savory and delicious. My wife had the chicken and loved it. The fries were just right and overall, this had to be one of the best yeeros I've ever had. I should add that the staff was super friendly and personable. I think it was the owner who gave our son a free tasting of the yogurt and toppings. All the toppings are homemade. I recommend the baklava if you have any room left over. It was standout. So yeah, this is a great place. Highly recommend it!

Ordered over the phone and had it delivered in decent time. I don't wanna knock it down too many pegs but all I gotta say it's just alright. The meat is spiced fairly decently however the sandwich is just big enough to feed a child. I'm a grown man and that was not nearly enough food. Re-think portion size Yeero, we're Americans we don't fill up to satisfaction, we eat until not a another sliver to food can enter our bellies. Taste wise, its satisfactory, nothing so special I would call it a "revolution" but it's a step in the right direction.

Very, very good Greek style food! Probably the best Greek style gyros (yeeros), souvlaki, etc, in Evanston. Good value for your money. The staff was friendly and quick. The environment is clean and inviting. If you're looking for a relatively quick walk-in style Greek food joint, you can't go wrong here! It's a new favorite for me.
