Wings are 10/10. But this place loses points because 1. It's cash only (there's an ATM there for them to profit on) and 2. They refuse to give you water and will only sell you a bottle, even though they're cooking you hot wings.

Been coming here for 30 years. Quality has always been consistent. The spicy wings and cheddar fries always remain a staple combo. So many reviews complain of the smaller wings but sadly they don’t understand that chickens that aren’t fed steroids tend to have smaller size. The flavor and recipe has remained the same delicious.

Every time I’m in Evanston Buffalo Joe’s is a must. Suicide wings and cheddar waffle fries are the staple and they are done so well! Cash only FYI

Best wings in the city don’t let anyone tell you different the waffle fries are also fantastic and the ranch is a must this is an Evanston staple that you have to try don’t miss out

Food was not good based on my taste or for my colleague. We love eating wings and came here because it was recommended. I would not go back. Medium or spicy wings were eh in flavor and fries with cheese was not good. Would recommend Buffalo Wild Wings over this.

Very good wings for Chicago, but let’s be clear: the “suicide” sauce would only be suicide for a Victorian English child who is already dying of scarlet fever and has never heard of or been within sniffing distance of a chili pepper. For all else, this is a mild sauce at best. It essentially is just their “spicy” (actually very mild) with some added jalapeños that somehow were LESS spicy than frozen bell peppers. Please put a spicier sauce on the menu and let me know when you do because the wing/crunch/flavor are all good and I’d happily come back for more!

Wings were delicious, sauce had great flavor, chicken had crispy skin. Suicide wings were not hot at all but I’m a huge fan of spicy food. I would say they were mild, not at all what I expected given the name. I wasn’t a fan of the cheese fries (but I don’t like cheez whiz). Staff was friendly and quick! They are cash only, but there is an ATM inside the restaurant. Bathroom was clean as was the dining area. These were probably the best wings I’ve ever had, just needed much more heat! After looking at other reviews on here I don’t think they gave me suicide wings cause there were no jalapeños on top. Major bummer.
