Been to this location so many times in the past 5 years.
I always go for the option to build my own pizza and I like to load mine up with tons of vegetables. The spicy vegan chorizo topping is amazing and so is their vegan cheese in small quantities. Too much of the vegan cheese feels a bit overwhelming for me.
The pesto sauce is tasty but very very garlicky, so much that it always leaves a very strong odor and it feels like it takes forever for that to go away however hard you try. For that reason, I always stick to the regular red sauce.
The seating area is ok. It’s a fast food joint , so don’t go with very high expectations. But I have always liked the way my pizza turns out here. Is it really pizza ? Maybe , maybe not. The answer depends on who you ask. But to me it’s some form of flatbread fast food that’s delicious. I like that they have the northwestern wildcard discount in this particular branch.
I have never eaten in any other blaze outlet other than this one to make any comparisons.

The gluten and dairy free pizza was delicious - if you are VERY sensitive to either, though, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm extremely dairy allergic and had a moderate reaction after leaving (I did eat a lot of it.) So if you just have an intolerance you're probably fine, just watch out if you're extra sensitive.

Although the pizza isn't the fanciest nor the best tasting, I must say the service and efficiency is amazing. We had a walk-in big group coming in, but the manager easily handled the situation and got 6 pizzas ready in around 10 minutes. Again, not the highest quality pie, but very quick ones.

Stood in line for about 15 minutes before anybody took my order. Not a hi, hello, or we’re busy but we’ll get to you in a second, none of the employees said anything at all. They were more focused on online orders than actually attending the customers in store.

The pizza is decent for fast food. The seating area was clean. However, the bath room needs to be cleaned asap went to wash my hands and the water seemed to go down slow and a very strange smell was in the washroom. Avoid the washroom if you can.

As a chain concept, the Blaze experience is well designed and the toppings are plentiful and fresh. Execution can be a bit tricky depending on the market. Our local store is in a University market and as such can suffer occasionally with lax customer service however the management is solid and the employees can rise to the call when needed. Prices have risen during the Pandemic but they still fall into an acceptable bracket considering the quality and speed with which they serve. It's a little like the 9 year old Italian kid who pulls the perfect shot of espresso every time. Practice a few thousand pizzas in a 575° oven and before long you've got it down.

The pizza wasn't bad. I guess I just don't like their style l, too thin and crunchy for me and the char bottom is something I can do without.
