Goolsby's

This is definitely one of the best soul food restaurants in the CSRA. The meat is never dry despite being buffet, the sides are to die for, and we all got complimentary peach cobbler for it being our first time there. The staff was very friendly and they had a good variety on the menu - plus, $35 for 3 people at a buffet restaurant is a crazy good price. I highly recommend to anyone in the area who loves BBQ or greens.

I can't sugarcoat nothing . People who hyping it grandma & mama must cant cook. I'm not gone say it's nasty but it's not the best. Most definitely not worth the 1hr drive . Macaroni and cheese tastes like it's made with cheez wiz. The greens were straight. The fried chicken tasted like left over fried chicken that has been put back in the fryer to heat up . I'm a sweet potato fanatic so the sweet potato casserole was good . If my bf ain't trying to eat up my food then it ain't good. Idk who lied to me about this place but it's a no for me .

Got the fried chicken leg plate for $10. Not disappointed! The legs were cooked perfectly and not dry. The greens and the ho cakes (cornbread) are a must. Most menu items were $10, great prices. A good ol’ southern comfort food plate! The staff were so friendly and even gave me a peach cobbler complimentary.
