Trappers Saloon

Cool looking restaurant and bar with delicious steak options, soup, salad sandwiches, etc. Everything was tasty and the staff were friendly. I ate at the bar in early March, but it looks like in warmer weather there are horseshoe pits and outdoor seating and and live music outside. Looks like a good time.

What a comfortable and relaxing place. I had an issue with the steak I ordered but when I brought it to their attention, they were quick to make it right. The food was plentiful and delicious! Our dining party had the salmon and they said it was delicious and cooked perfectly. The owner even delivered a piece of cake to sing Happy Birthday to my 92 year old Mother. Their service was attentive, but not overbearing. They have an outside patio that is really cool for when they have live music. I am hoping to visit again and Trapper's Saloon will definitely be on my list to enjoy an evening.

Service was terrible. The guy didn’t even seat us, he just told us, “go sit over there” and pointed. Then it took several minutes to get a menu. Tvs were way way to loud. Drinks were way to expensive and watered down. When asked for a beer menu we were told “we have everything.” We are not from this area so “everything” is different in each area. It was just 2 of us and we shared a meal. The waitress didn’t bring us an extra plate. After we finished our food we sat at the table for 15-20 min waiting for our bill and it never can so we stood at the register for another 5+ minutes. There was only 3 other couples in the whole restaurant so it’s not like they were super busy. Food was good. Definitely not worth the price tho. Paid $38 before tip. Each of us got 2 drinks. Won’t be going back.

Waited over an hour for food, then it wasn’t very good. This wasn’t my first visit to Trapper’s, but it was my first visit in a couple years. After waiting roughly 20min just to have our order taken, we ended up waiting another 50min for our food! We thought about leaving a few times because our drinks hadn’t even show up yet. However, there really isn’t much else to choose from around the area, and we were hungry. The waitress came by and checked on us only once or twice the entire wait. Once at the beginning when she brought our drinks then again when we asked her if she had any idea when our food would arrive. Once our food started coming out, only 2 of the three people were served. One person waited another 10min. We were only having burgers and fries and one fish and chips. I’m giving 3 stars because my friend said they liked their fish and chips, and because the waitress comp’ed one of our meals because we waited so long.
