I'm so glad that Eugene still has an actual mall to go kick it in. The best part about the Valley River Center is being able to capture one of these lovely wild life clips down at the river nearby. Highly recommended; the best shopping center in Lane County...

Nice mall. I had never been to this one and it was clean, and had great shops. The only downfall I didn't care much for was carts for children are a $10 fee. While in a mall in Colorado they were free and some has room for 2-3 littles and it was a much bigger mall. But my granddaughter loved it so I guess that's what matters.

Great atmosphere, a wide variety of shops and lots of food choices. Then Macy's is clean and well-run and they have hair and nail shops along with a weapons shop and a Bath and Body Works. Lots of parking and never too busy.

What's not to love about the mall??? I'm so happy to see the mall filling back in with stores, and so many people flocking back to the mall to go shopping post covid restrictions. VRC has an amazing theater, ample food court, badass arcade, and some really great shopping. I mean it has Macy's which is really the best clothes shopping in Eugene.

It's a brick n morter with all outlets open and occupied for you. A dynamic feature is the riverfront streamline with alongside pedestrian and bike paths. Most notable is the pedestrian bridge to cross the majestic northerly flowing emerald Willamette proving the valley to be viable and vibrant. Enjoy and most of all be kind all the time

You've heard about the death of the American mall, and you might think malls need to adapt to the changing times if they want to stay afloat. Not this one. This mall has exactly the same vibe as the malls I haunted as a mall rat teenager. Mostly the same restaurants in the food court (panda express, Cinnabon, etc.), same anchor stores (JCPenney, Macy's), same dinky little play area for kids, a movie theater, a "grown up" arcade. You can get your ears pierced at Claire's and an edgy black t shirt at hot topic like it's 2003. It's nice, kind of.

It's a nice mall. Make sure to make appointment for DMV. Food court is usually clean-ish, but could use more integrity. Shops and shop keepers are typically nice and genuine. Have yet to have a bad experience.

The escalator is broken to go to the museum upstairs, and the elevators are horribly scary with no up to date approval to run them. Other than that it has quite some unique stores, I really enjoy bath and body works. I wish there was more variety in stores though.
