Jersey Mike's Subs

For your Birthday each year, you get a coupon emailed to you, for a free Regular Sub. It's for any sub, listed on the menu & a free drink. The coupon, is always good for a year. It's a nice perk for your Birthday. This Sub was a California Club & was good. The drink was Stubborn brand Vanilla cream soda, from their fountain. I bought a little bag, of Miss Vickie's Smokehouse BBQ kettle type chips. So once I bought the little bag of chips, my Birthday meal was $1.59. My Sub was HUGE & made exactly the way I asked. Please do consider trying Jersey Mike's, for the other 364 days of the year, not just for your free Birthday meal. They have very delicious Cheesesteaks too!!

Wow this place has gone downhill. Used to be the best sandwich shop in town where they piled on the meats. Now? Last 3 sandwiches have had barely any meat on them, I suspect they’ve cut back due to rising costs but I’m not going to be paying $16 for chips, drink and a sandwich with almost no meat on it. See ya Jersey Mike’s, you’re waaaay overpriced for what you get now.

REVISED FOR HELPFULNESS, 12/21/21. This is not a comprehensive review since I didn't eat the subs I bought for others. However, as a first-time customer, I found the procedural signage lacking. When facing the counter, the line starts on the right side. You move right to left, ordering items for your sandwich from different employees as you move down the line. Pay at the cash register on the left, after ordering. However, the biggest issue I encountered would likely not pass a health inspection: after paying, the cashier put her bare hands into the INSIDE of the drink cups to pull them from the stack. I asked her for new cups, with her touching only the OUTSIDE. She seemed confused by the request and asked another employee for assistance. Most places stack their cups upsidedown to avoid this issue. However, it appeared this store stacked them right side up, forcing the cashier to use her dirty hands to pull each one out from inside the cup. Regardless of how they were stacked, she inserted her hands into the inside of the cup. I appreciate the comments from the manager on this post to address this issue and assume it will be addressed.
