The owners of Pizza Amore are amazing! They came in on their day off to make pizzas for our team dinner. We easily fed 42 starving teenage boys who left stuffed and happy! The pizza is great and we love their new location. We definitely will use them again.

I saw reviews and posts for this pizza place on social media and thought I would give it a try for a slice. I got a pepperoni slice and my wife got a pepperoni mushroom slice. The slices are huge; maybe a tad too big. The crust was bready and sweet. It did not taste like a NY pizza crust, which should be crispy on the outside with a chewy interior. The crust had a store-bought pizza crust taste. And for me that's a big disappointment. The sauce was too sweet. And the cheese quality had a plastic-like consistency and bland flavor. The pepperoni was okay though. And they did use fresh mushrooms. I have had NY pizza many times. Sadly, pizza at Pizza Amore doesn't come close enough to the real thing.

I've been to almost every pizza place in North County, this is by far the best. The prices are very reasonable, the ingredients are quality and the dough is amazing. It is easily the closest to "East Coast" pizza you can get around here and they don't charge an arm and leg like some other places.

My first experience - just ordered a slice and a soda, but it was huge and the crust was just like I like it - on the thinner side without being like a cracker. Just the right amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Really hot the spot. It was a little wait, but I didn't mind.

Me and my family only order from here when we want NY style pizza. The food is great and the owner is SUPER friendly. We only get the best service when we come here to pick up our pizza.

Really great, kept trying to find an Escondido pizza places that did fresh slices after lunch hour! This place is legit. Huge slices and very fresh ingredients. The dough is very light and delicious, it didn't leave me that heavy full feeling. Nice friendly ownership, seems family owned. Bonus: across the street from Peterson's Donut shop!

Great pizza and very good price. They have a very large size(28 inches Giant Pizza) very convenient location with a lot of parking since they moved from Escondido Boulevard. I will be back. The is the closest to authentic New York Pizza you can get around here. I wish there is more space to eat (dine In)
