Food was fantastic, just as a I remember. I hadn't been here in years and it was a wonderful welcome-back experience. My friend and I both ordered seafood dishes, and we both loved them. One really specific thing I love about this place is the tables. They're big and sturdy. No anxiety as far as wobbly tables or things not fitting and playing food Tetris. My only complaint was the slow service as far as refills for my water went, and since I'm a shy person sometimes its difficult for me to flag someone down. But otherwise-- great night with great food!!
Very good! The salsa "picante" is better than the table salsa and good enough to pour on your plate!
Sunday Brunch. A great Brunch! I havent seen my kids eat that much in one sitting before ... my wife and I did service to the great food too!

Sunday Brunch Buffet is off the hook!. This is a great place to meet up with friends and family for the Sunday brunch buffet. There's a little something here for everyone with a nice blend of traditional hangover remedies, e.g. menudo, interspersed with regular menu items. They even cook up some special treats for my Father-in-law that aren't on the menu: n.b., don't forget to overtip your wait staff, you'll have friends for life!
I loved the flavor of the green chili and it went well with the sauce and the beef all rolled together in a tortilla. The El Molcajete came with 2 extra sides, salsa fresca and guacamole, with a good heap of sour cream. The guacamole was pretty good and still had some bit of avocado in it, definitely made in house, not prepackaged runn
We moved up north about a year ago and have finally found our Mexican food restaurant. The atmosphere was artsy with murals on the walls, decorations, and felt very open. Doesn't feel overcrowded with the placements of the tables. There was a mariachi band to help with the celebration for the guest. The service was great. Our server checked on us often and our food came out pretty quick. The food had flavor, yum. The rice didn't taste like tomato paste was the base, the beans were perfect. The price was also not bad at all. This will be the place we bring our friends and family to when they visit.
This is a family-owned Mexican restaurant in Escondido, CA. The building has an eye-catching exterior and a spacious, colorful interior. Staff is kind and helpful. The Moscow Mule and the Cucumber Cooler are notable adult refreshments. The enchilada combo I ordeeed was one chicken and one cheese, rate it 7/10. The accompanying rice has some veggies like carrots and peas added in which adds color and flavor. The sizzling veggie fajita was 7/10, served with white rice. Prices are family friendly with no covidy up charges. I recommend and plan to return.
Great place to splurge and celebrate! My family goes here on special occasions. On a busy day/night you will need to wait. On a Saturday night around 7pm the wait time for two was 40mins so not too bad. Food is great!! Drinks are pricy but so good! The food will fill you up so we don’t order an appetizer just chips and entree.
Really enjoyed our experience here. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. The large portioned Burrito Loco is pictured here.
This restaurant is big! The whole 2 story building! Also, looks like they have a private booth for private family gathering. Dining tables were every where. People were waiting inside and out to be seated.
Once we were seated, I ordered Seafood tostada and it was delicious 😋!! You can tell my plate was huge but I surely ate everything. I also had the tamarind margarita on the rocks 🍹and OH SO GOOD!! big glass too and was well mixed. My husband had the Enchiladas Suizas. Yup his plate said it all how good it was! Reasonable price. Really neat place to eat. Friendly workers, and they have a photographer that takes pictures of the customers. One picture is free but if you like the rest of the pictures one copy is $15 and additional ones is $12 each. You have like 4 copies to choose from.
On their sign, they have Mariachi on Friday night from 6-9 if you like Mariachi. Otherwise, come check it out and enjoy!!

Service was great & friendly. That's why I give 5 stars. Food came out fast & freshly made to order. Our server was friendly & courteous. Food was OK. 3 Stars IMHO. I think my dish was over stuffed with papas/taters as a filler to make up for a shortage of beef perhaps??? Just my thoughts. Would go back again.
Great charming interior with a unique circular mural above the dining area. Friendly staff. Authentic and flavorful Mexican food. The carnitas were some of the best I've ever had. Solid cocktails too. All the feeling of a Disney restaurant and four times the quality.
