Our go to pasty place when we're in the area. Fast, fresh and like the variety of different pasties!
Awesome breakfast pasty! yum! Will definitely be back to try others
Beautiful place, lots of Michigan gifts, best pasties around, very nice owner and staff, east to find as well.
We always stop here on our way into and out of Michigan. The taste is comparable to home made and not commercialized. Small and quant is the place to be with excellent service.
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!
Just had my very first Grams Pastie!
It was amazing, I will never ever have "the other guys" ever again.
It was perfect, the crust was great, perfect seasoning, just the right size and the price was right too!
You have found a regular customer in this girl right here!!
Thank you️
My first time having a pasty and they were excellent! Had the ham and cheese for breakfast- so good!
Aaaaahhhhhmazing! What are you waiting for?! Go get a homemade, hot from oven pasty, you will love it.
Trust me,

Great customer service, and excellent food!
Great pasties! With rutabaga......as it should!
Stopped at Gram's Pasties while traveling through the Upper Peninsula and had lunch. Very good pasties. Try the Swedish meatball pastie. Highly recommended!! Only thing we were not happy with was that they were all out of the frozen Swedish meatball ones to take home! LOL Only shows how good they were that they were out!
An excellent example of a UP pastie! Good friendly service!
Best pasties in the UP! We look forward to our visit every summer. This time, I'm getting frozen pasties to bring back home.
Thanks for the amazingly delicious pasties!!! Can't wait to come back!
When will you have plain beef pastors again.? We love grams and visit often.
Amazing! We moved up from Illinois and the service was beyond wonderful. The chicken parmesan pasty was very good.
Always go where the locals go! Tried the traditional beef as it was my first. I will crave them from 500 miles away . . . Nice staff too!
Website shutdown but they’re open for business and easily deserve their superb rankings.
I’ve had more than my share of pasties over the years, including in Cornwall, and these were the best ever.
Half a dozen kinds were hot and ready to go so we only needed to wait as long as it took the cashier to take our order, go to the kitchen, and come out with our pasties.
Ordered two and shared: (1) chicken and (2) beef, rutabaga, and carrot. Both superb.
This late lunch stop is just a short block off the main highway. It's an attractive small cafe with a drive through window. I enjoyed the beef and rutabaga pasty which was piping hot. The pastry outer was quite soft; the filling was diced small and pleasantly seasoned. I appreciate the fact that you could taste the vegetables and not too much salt. They are apparently serving close to 400 a day here and it's easy to see why. You'll also find this on the classic "Pasty Trail". Recommended.
Wished I had a picture of our delicious pasty but we ate it too quick! Today we had the hot bacon breakfast pasty! Our favorite yet! We like this place so much my husband bought 3 frozen to take back home to WI! Definitely a good spot for a passsstee 😍
The best pasties ever! I love that they experiment with different flavors, but I love the classic with rutabaga.
Everything is made there in house, and there are frozen ones to take home if you'd like. An absolute gem of a place.
Found this place by accident but we got lucky. The pasties were excellent and I would have them again.
Allen was a such treasure at Gram's. He was willing to share his knowledge in a fun and patient manner. We purchased the frozen pasties to take home with us.We will certainly be back.
When traveling I always ask locals where to eat. Gram's was recommended as THE place to get pasties. I'm glad we listened because it made our first experience eating pasties a memorable one.
We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant opened for the day. When a gentleman we assumed to be the manager saw us waiting, he invited us in. How hospitable! Made us feel right at home! The only drawback was there was no coffee available...so I had a bottle of iced tea while my husband had a Coke. The shell of my pasty was light, the filling was a breakfast combo. They also had frozen pasties with various fillings to go. There were plenty of gifts and t-shirts offered for sale.
Gram's Pasties was one of the highlights of our first visit to the Upper Pennisula. We look forward to returning next year.
We stopped at Grams yesterday and had a very interesting experience. Originally we had stopped at the other pastie place and decided against ordering there and stopped here instead. We stepped into an adorable shop to be greeted with a very warm welcome, we ordered our pasties and some frozen to go and enjoyed our pasties at the picnic tables out side. While eating an older gentleman hollered from his vehicle and asked us, "is that dog food good?" To which I replied, "yes, very!!". He preceded to yell to us that it was "BS" and that the pasties were made with dog meat... now I've never had dog meet but those were easily the best pasties I've ever had!!! Whatever your secret is keep it up!!! Lol thank you for making our first visit a great one! We even got a funny story to tell when we get home!!
Perfect place for my first pastie!! Beef, rutabaga, and carrot was delicious. So hot and fresh, ready in an instant. The guy who helped me, (I see from other reviews his name is Allen) was very friendly. Will definitely come back
Great Pasties, nice vibe, outdoor seating. Grab a six pack for your crew in the store and sit outside and enjoy with your pasties.
Happened to be in Escanaba staying at a motel next door and wanted to try this pasties. Was not disappointed. They were excellent.
We got to-go pasties because of small sitting area. They do have picnic tables outside so that's where we ate. Food was tasteful and filling. Would go back and try their other options.
Super cute shop. Very friendly staff. This is my first time having pasties. Loaded baked potato is really good.
Very friendly service and an excellent pasty! 👌🏻 had a first timer try a pasty here and it was a great experience.
We have eaten Pasties all over the U.P. Today was our first time having one at Gram's. We had the Beef and Rutabaga with gravy and they were AMAZING!! We will definitely be back.
They were good pasties. A bit small, but service was good.
Besides our own 4th generation pasties, this was hands down the best pasty we’ve had. What are you waiting for, go!
I was a pasty virgin until we came to Gram's. I got the breakfast pasty and it stuck to my ribs until evening. Seriously, i was not hungry again until 7pm.
Gram's has by far the best Pasties in the U.P.!! Great fillings, perfect crust, served Hot or frozen to take home. Mandatory stop on our UP trips and back home!
