This was the only dinner place we could find when we arrived in Escalante at around 8:30pm on a Friday in April. We had the restaurant to ourselves. First had to place the order, pay, then get seated. I had the chicken tortilla soup and it was amazing! Also had the peppermint hot tea and that was perfect too. We shared the chips and salsa - quite unique with the spices they added, and the dessert pie was alright.

I loved the live music! And although a bit busy, the food came out in about 10 mins. The burger was amazing! Loved the staff! The server has a cheerful touch of humor that made my day

We were greeted with friendly service from the moment we walked in the door. When ordering, they went above and beyond In helping me find a delicious meal that met my dietary restrictions. The BEST taco salad I’ve ever had! We sat in the outdoor patio with our dogs and enjoyed the scenery while we ate and drank wine. After dinner, my server suggested the Dutch Apple Pie for dessert, which was to die for! He also shared some helpful information on hikes in the area. I’ll definitely be coming back—hopefully when they’re open for breakfast!

Circle D has been knocking it out of the park this season with their menu! Season is just getting started around here in southern Utah and their specials have been amazing. The other night we had the NY strip special (cooked perfectly medium rare) and the brisket sandwich. The coleslaw on the brisket makes it!!
Tonight we were back again and the 12 oz steak special with broccoli and baked potato was again worth every penny. We shared some chicken tortilla soup and a glass of wine to round it out. If you come through Escalante, make sure you stop in to Circle D for dinner!!
Staff is always friendly and here to serve.

This place is AMAZING! Stopped in about a half hour before posted closing time. We were welcomed in with friendly faces and delicious, fresh food. I had the impossible burger (SO good) and my partner had chicken tamales. We were both equally impressed with our selections. Beer was great with several options to choose from. Restaurant itself was warm and welcoming with a chill vibe all around. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Delicious breakfast and dinner. They also have an espresso bar. It has a nice patio as well as a cozy fireplace. Fresh good food!!! We also loved the motel

Nice place! Had a great brisket dinner and a drink. Nice people and some outside dining with some nice views when the sun is setting. Will definitely go back if in the area.

Bar none, THE WORST brisket I've ever had. Only two small pieces too... Overpriced at $18. My daughter got a cheeseburger with only two additional toppings but they added another she didn't want. Lettuce was terrible (look at the picture). $14 for a basic burger that came out wrong. They have spaghetti on their online menu (which was my daughter's first choice), but when we got there we were told they don't offer that anymore. Then I asked about their cold coffee drink. Not available either. No soap in mens bathroom. Very few people were here while nearby restaurants were packed. That should have been my first clue. Stay away.

Decent burgers. They have decent burgers made from local beef supplied by Phillip's Ranch in Escalante. A third of a pound might seem a bit much but it hits the spot after a long hike. The one shortcoming is the bun which is too small for the burger and all the fixings.

We had breakfast here and both the sausage and bacon got rave reviews for their taste. My daughter had the Bisquits and gravy and she literally licked her plate. For the four of us, our bill was 42.00 plus tip.

Drove into town and this was the first place we saw. Drove on by but couldn't find anything that looked any better so we headed back. Didn't know what to expect for such a small town, but we're very pleasantly surprised! Excellent service, atmosphere and food. We had burgers and sandwiches that were huge, and tasty!

Local beef. Smoke their own cheese. Lots of homemade sauces, breads & other goodies. Excellent service.
