It figures that as soon as I moved from Erie to Lafayette Erie gains "The Best Restaurant & Best Chef!"
Good news that they are worth the drive! I'm a regular & have found all of the amazing food they offer is truly farm to table and created to please.
The entire staff are friendly, knowledgeable, & know what to suggest based on your personal likes.
The cocktails and bar tending are paired well with choices to venture out & try something new!! They offer the very best I've ever had after living over 30 yrs in CO. They have daily specials, appetizers & small plates as well as the very best entree's. Sure if you are coming with a large group & family, I recommend reservations. I do some impromptu meals at the bar & or bar tables. They are drawing a friendly crowd and have been discovered! Met some very nice folks there from Frederick as well as Erie & surrounding areas.
Need a gift? Give someone a gift certificate, like me. And Desserts are bites so you can taste and share!
This is the very best Boulder County has ever experienced! Thanks to the best Chef & proprietor, along with a happy, knowledgeable staff, I can say that you owe it to yourself to try 24KT Bistro on Briggs ST in Erie. They are directly across from the post office. You too will be very pleased that you went! Enjoy!

Sometimes you happen upon one of those places that takes you totally by surprise. 24 Carrot Bistro is one of those places. We showed up without a reservation (mistake) and were told we couldn't be seated for 1.5 hrs. Places at the bar were open however which had full service so we sat there ( great fortune!). Brady (our bartender) and Jordan (2nd bartender) were excellent, knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. We were told that 24 Carrots Bistro is a cocktail bar (they make many of their own spirits) but they had an excellent selection of craft beers on tap as well. I had the swillin' swine, an amazing concoction of bacon fat-washed bourbon with other flavors. It blew me away! Our appetizer was warm kale Parmesan dip with homemade sweet potato chips - outstanding! For meals, the ahi tuna was as good as I have ever had. My companions had the ginger shrimp and brick chicken, both equally excellent. We shared an apple gannet with caramel and sea salt drizzle and vanilla bean ice cream. I have eaten meals all around the world, but this was definitely in my top 5! If you're in the Boulder/Denver/Colorado Springs area, it is worth your drive to go the Erie, CO, and the 24 Carrot Bistro!
Rotating menu with delicious, seasonal foods; fantastic cocktails and bar service; fine dining atmosphere yet comfortable and not overly fancy. Service is always excellent and the place is always full, so make reservations.
This high-end restaurant has a down-home feel with an inviting atmosphere. The food and specialty drinks are crafted by artisans. Our lamb and Cornish game hens were cooked to perfection and, unlike so many restaurants, they were served hot. The presentation was clearly done with care and attention. They had a good selection of reasonable priced wines. The half-hour drive from Boulder to the quaint town of Erie was worth the effort.
A diamond in the ruff. Absolutely delicious, fresh, farm-to-table food with above and beyond service. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated. Recently, I ordered take-out requesting a "dairy free" burger here. 24 Carrot staff called me and left a message explaining how there is milk powder in their bun and wanted to know if I still wanted it. I have never received this level of care or service from other restaurants. Another time when my friends and I had dinner there, the bartender came over with little aperitif as a welcome and hello. They were delicious!! Easily our favorite spot in Colorado now. You must try this place!
This was well worth the drive from Boulder for dinner. The chilled soup, duck breast, and duck confit were all superb. Great service and ambiance too.
We ordered the Calamari Full-Size, carrot cake, a Bud Light Bottle and 1 cocktail the My Chai Rie Amore. $45.75 total bill.
Austin was our delightful server that greeted us kindly and with utmost politeness. He truly enjoys his job!
The food is all locally sourced. The cocktail was very strong, tasted like straight alcohol 🍸 $11
We sat on their patio that was pleasant.
We were seated right away without reservations but they are recommended.
We had dinner there last Saturday night. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Value for money was also a great surprise! I highly recommend this restaurant! The carrot cake is to dye for.
The menu rotates, so it's a surprise every time. We went for brunch and were pleasantly surprised. We had happened to be a walk in and had to wait about 30 mins. Fantastic service, clean, beautiful interior and don't forget to try the carrot cake.
