We went for breakfast this morning and it was amazing! This is the first time I came in under the new owners and I was very impressed. The crab cakes eggs Benedict was definitely something that will get me returning. I recommend this place for breakfast.
Such a nice place. We had 2 eggs, bacon, and toast done absolutely perfectly. And the coffee is to die for! We'll be back!
Tried Butch's for lunch. I had never been there before, and knew the place was under new management. I had the Butchie Burger, which sounded tempting since it had a patty of Italian sausage on it. It was good, but my friend's bacon cheeseburger looked better with all the thick perfectly cooked bacon on it. That is what I will be getting next time. The fries were unusual and I felt they were overpriced considering the quantity. I will skip those next visit, but I will be back.
Under new management and owner. Potatoes are made and sliced daily. The five egg omelette is humongous easy to be split. The frittata is tasty with fresh potatoes sausage onions and that can be split. Service was good
Gotta try a Butchie-burger. We love Butch's big omelettes and great burgers. Friendly atmosphere & fun local art on the walls screams home town place. Reasonable prices and home cooked meals make this one of our definite stops when in Erie.
Food was cheap and excellent. Service was great. Will be going back again. It's the first restaurant I've ever been to that I ate and was perfect full. Not sick, not hungry. But full. And I ate my whole meal.
Crab cake is amazing, Probably the best fries I've ever gotten at a restaurant and the bacon burger looks awesome.

First time going here. I like to find local diners and experience them. By far one of the best ones yet. Food absolutely amazing. Just dont ask for water. You may never get it lol. All in all great staff and again, the food was amazing.
We enjoyed our breakfast! I got scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. My bf got the Egg Benedict. We both cleared our plates. My ONLY issue was my bacon was so over cooked it was just too crunchy, but I still ate most of em! It was a good way for us to start our morning! I’m pretty sure the owner was there as well making sure everyone’s food tasted great. Waitress was kind. Didn’t bother us too much, and was always around when we needed something! Lovely breakfast.
Great food and service. Nicole is super friendly and never had to ask for anything. She kept our drinks full and made sure our food was served immediately. Thanks to the staff!
Very nice cozy place, staff very friendly, lots of good choices for breakfast, great portions, and great prices. Highly recommend will go back. 5 stars all the way
