After spending the day at the Wine on the Lake Festival, my wife and I found this gem of a restauaunt. They have an endless selection of great brews on tap and the food is simply amazing. I had the Jamison Steak, cooked to perfection. Service was awesome as well. I would defenatly be back again. One recommendation though, the music is too loud in the dining area. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. Everyone in the room was shouting to each other (adding to the noise). Maybe dial back the tunes a tad. Otherwise, an awesome place to eat or drink.

Visited Molly Brannigans from out of town and have never been more pleased with an entire menu in my travels. New head chef is fantastic! Not only does he impress in the kitchen- but has fabulous table side manner. Corned beef and Mules are to die for.

My husband and I were travelling from Toronto to Akron and stopped here for dinner. It was about 20 minutes out of our way, but the reviews were good and the menu intriguing. WOW. We can't say enough about the whole experience. From the friendly and attentive staff - Ali our server, Tom the chef who made a point to come see if we were enjoying his food, and Kyle the bar manager who told us the history of the beautiful building and authentic pub bar, banquettes and decor that was all imported from Ireland by the original owner - to the amazing food and excellent craft cocktails (must haves include the Reuben rolls, Shepard's pie, the Rachel and the Smithfield Market), well we were frankly blown away. Good service is a rare thing these days and this gem in downtown Erie is worth the drive.

To all my Golfing and Sailing friends out there this is a hidden gem. In fact, anyone heading through Erie, PA should get off the 90 and make the short 18 minute trip in for a bite. First to thank is Kyle the Bar Manager. He took the time to provide us with the full history of this stunning building. As a mixologist, he has created a wide selection of unique Craft Cocktails for every occasion. We were then introduced to a Jameson Orange and a Magners. We immediately went to the Liquor store for a bottle of that Jameson. Thanks to Tom the Chef. Our food came out fresh and hot. He also took the time to personally check on our satisfaction. Try getting that in a chain restaurant!! Thanks to Ally our server. Last but certainly not least was attentive throughout the service. This professional service all comes at a very reasonably price.

The food was good. The service was excellent. In general I was somewhat surprised that the menu did not have more of a selection. Prices were reasonable. Not a place I would frequent on a regular basis but I will keep it in mind for an occasional dinner.

Fantastic! Great burgers and atmosphere. The staff is great. I called, because I couldn’t find the place. They guided me there and met me at the door! I will be back.

This is the first time for my wife and I to visit this establishment and it wasn't disappointing. Friends had told us "it's always a fun time here" and they were right. The patrons and staff were friendly and courteous, the atmosphere was inviting and friendly and the music was excellent! The food was very good with one exception. To start, my wife had the soft pretzel and beer cheese. Tasty! I had the beef wellington. Very good, could have had more horseradish sauce. Loved the presentation. Our main meals, my wife had the BBQ burger and a bowl of seafood chowder. She said the burger was very good, however, the chowder was bland. Needed seasoning, I tried it and she was right. That was the one drawback. My meal was corned beef and cabbage, Excellent! Dessert was also delicious creme brulee. Meghan was our server, she made the atmosphere even better. Checked on us regularly, got what we asked for friendly welcome smile and stopped to visit before we left. She made our experience enjoyable. Hats off to the kitchen staff. Thank you for making our evening memorable. We WILL be back!

Red Letter Hospitality never disappoints.... we enjoyed amazing appetizers, and stellar drinks ...all at a fair price. The drinks are all hand made with fresh ingredients...bartender Mallory and Danielle also make it fun to sit there and chat. Portions and drinks are larger than other restaurants in downtown. Put this stop on your list when visiting Erie, and definitely try the Scotch Egg and the Reddy Burger!!!! Cheers!!

Initially, I was concerned that the place was so empty when we arrived; however, it was early for dinner. More people began coming in as our meal progressed. Excellent food: we had the pork chop, the Shepherds Pie, and the Dubliner mac & cheese. All were terrific!
