Had a few of the drinks and all was good. Sometimes going to a small brewery a beer or two may turn out to be a bad choice but we did not experience that here. Our group also enjoyed six different meals and they were all great. The staff was very accommodating of our questions as well as providing quick service.

First visit to this little brewery with huge taste! Not only on the brews but the food! Reese and Eric were great, even gave us tips and tricks to enjoy our brews more. The onion petals were great and satisfied the food urge while drinking great brews. Definitely stop in.

My husband and I went today. it was excellent! I got the fish and chips and my husband got the apple pulled pork sandwich ( I dont remember the exact name) but he said it was delicious. We shared a jumbo soft pretzel for an appetizer as well. the portion sizes were generous and well worth what we paid. the server was attentive and friendly. the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. overall, we enjoyed our visit and will be stopping in again!

My first time here. We stopped on a whim on our way home from out of town based on the great google reviews. This place did not disappoint. The building was easy to find and in the historic area of Ephrata. We sat inside to eat but they had some outside seating as well. It was pet friendly outside. The inside was beautifully decorated, good beer and excellent food. We will make it a point to stop back! *Edited to add our second visit. We sat outside on the patio for this visit. We ordered 2 appetizers: garlic parm tater tots and smashed potatoes. Both were awesome! For meals, we ordered the smashburger (cheeseburger on texas toast), buffalo chicken mac & cheese, and shrimp tacos. I did not enjoy my burger very much. It was incredibly salty which I think was the toast and not the burger. I had to smother it in ketchup in order to eat it. My dad and boyfriend enjoyed their meals. We each had 1 beer. Really wish they would carry flights here as I wanted to try many of them. The bill for the three of us was about $130 (tip included).

Driving through Ephrata and noticed this brewpub on maps, I stopped in for a pint. My wife got a coke and the Orange cream sickle mousse. Staff was friendly, service was quick. The beer was great and the mousse was excellent, I wish we had more time to order from the menu. We will definitely be back to try the griddle cheese meatloaf.

Have been wanting to try this place for a while and I’m glad I finally did. The waiters were cool and the ambience was chill. Small menu but I like that and my party each got different dishes and everybody only had compliments to give. Good selection of beers as well. I like the indoor/ outdoor setting. I would definitely check it out

Great Beers, Creative Cocktail list, and Awesome food! Shrimp and Grits is one of my favorites, but they have great burgers, tacos, and specials. Always a great experience, as the product is on point and the bartenders are always friendly. Highly Recommend!

My dad has lived in Ephrata for years and I just found out about Black Forest. Bartenders are super friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in. It’s got the perfect brewery look to the place with wood walls and a random door hanging from the wall with beer stickers from all over the country. The beers were excellent and the Tuna BLT is pretty good. If they added some lemon at the end to it, it would have been perfect. If you’re in the area, check it out.
