Steves Boston Seafood

I would say they are a local treasure. The staff is always helpful and the food speaks for itself! Not to mention fair prices. I don't no of any other spot like this locally unless I want to travel 3 hours out of my way to get something fresh off a pier. Gotta love great local businesses that offer something wonderful to the community.

This review is for Boston Seafood Sign no longer days Steve's I asked a manager about the size of the whole bellies-18.99 lunch size. He indicated they were medium. They were very small, over breaded. Was also disappointed to be carrying takeout in a heavy, starafoam container with a plastic bag. Not sustainable.

We ordered 30 oysters for our Christmas Eve dinner, scheduled pick up time was 5pm. At 3pm they called saying that my order was ready for pickup, meaning the oysters have been opened already which was way too early for my dinner plan. When I went to pick them up, they had charged me an additional 50cts/oyster to open them without asking me if this is what I wanted, no one discussed this additional cost with me. In addition, once I opened the trays at home, I only had 29 oysters and 2 of them looked so bad I had to trash them. I ordered the smallest oysters possible but half of them were gigantic, the other half were excellent. I called the store as soon as I opened the trays at home, to let them know that I did not receive what I paid for and was told the owner would call me back. It will be a week tomorrow and I still have not heard from him. I will not go back to this place and will not recommend.
