would give this place a 0 if i could. Security refused to let my friends and I in because they thought our IDs were fake. They said “i’m not going to even bother checking your fakes because i’m sure you paid a lot of money for them and i’d hate to take them away.” They called over 5 separate guys to all check our IDs, checked them with the LED light and still thought they were fake. When we were upset they very rudely told us to calm down and kept making rude remarks towards us. We threatened to call the cops, because our IDs were real and they were not giving them back. As soon as one of our guy friends came up and stood up for us they then magically decided that they were going to give them back but still didn’t stop the rude remarks. Would love to get in touch with a manager to talk about this incident to make sure their employees are retrained in checking IDs so this doesn’t happen to other girls.

Beautiful décor on the inside, love the wood, bamboo, plants, and open air, along with starry sky view (no "roof"). In all honesty, the music, beat and vibe at the location one door north was much more enticing, and the line of people waiting outside to get in at that place reinforced that fact. Eric, the doorman who was working at Shelter on Thursday was very kind and invited me back, so I'd like to give it another chance. Maybe it was due to a slow start on a Saturday night, or a mismatch in music preference...but dancing and hanging out just didn't feel very natural. After Eric's warm invite...maybe on a Thursday?

Chose this place cause the website says it a bar restaurant, when we arrived we were told they do not serve food. They should definitely update their website! I had a group of 6 people so figured we'd have a drink or 2 and then head somewhere for food. We ended up only having 1 drink and leaving, when a vodka cranberry is bad it's not a good sign. I could see ending the night here for some dancing after cocktails else where but don't have high expectations, it's just a nicely decorated bar.

Came here early Saturday for some drinks after dinner. Loved the vibes here and the staff was extra friendly and helpful. I went back to the restroom and saw some flickering in the door in the back and went to check it out. There's a really cool fire pit and booth back there. It was still early so no one was back there. The staff was amazing and took a bunch of pictures for us since we had the space all to ourselves! Would definitely come back again!
