Open House

We've been here twice. Awesome ambiance and a concept that is going to sweep north county (similar concept in Carlsbad at Park that really missed the mark). Our last visit was a soft opening of Chef Wades new concept of local and fresh and raw. My friends and I all agreed it was simply one of the finest dining experiences we have had in a long time. Referring specifically to the Raw Bar and Tequila room, It will rival places like Market. Get in now while you can because good luck getting a seat once word gets out. I've been to all of their other locations and always really like the ambience and thought the food was good but the food at the Raw bar is beyond good...it is simply superb! We tried everything on the Raw menu. Some of it twice.

Good location. Cool idea. Bad execution. Looked at web site expected options and found out it was only Asian. When we asked the waiter he was not enthusiastic about the menu or concept. Skewers (beef and lamb) we're over cooked, I was charged $2 without warning for hot sauce. Then gave feedback and waiters answer was less the accommodating or concerned. Probably would try one more time. I hope this is all new and their still fine tuning.

We are so excited to have Open House in our Neighborhood! The minute you walk in you feel like home. My son said immediately it felt like Kauai, the island we just returned from. The owners did an amazing job transforming El Callejon into an eclectic and urban fun place to have delicious food. We can't wait to try the whole menu😀😊

Loved this place! First visit and it definitley won't be the last. We visited during happy hour and were very pleased with the menu and beverage options as well as the pricing. The Fried bBrussel Sprouts (stir fried, not battered) were amazing with a crispness that was awesome. Bulgogi Fries and Bao Buns didn't disappoint either. Everything was top notch and super tasty. Service was good and friendly and the atmosphere was upscale enough, but casual enough for anyone to be comfortable. We didn't have our kids with us, but they did have plenty to keep little ones occupied in a small play area. Can't wait to go back to try some of the other menu options.
