Kebab Shop Encinitas

Hi all! Went to eat at this restaurant today with friends. I ordered a wrapped kebab! The girl at the checkout was very nice and helpful. Offered options. The service is great! Everywhere is very clean and the toilet is also clean! The food was prepared very quickly, we waited 5 minutes in total! very happy! The food was fresh and tasty. I haven't eaten such a kebab for a long time... There is a cozy atmosphere in the room, music plays, it's cool, just what you need. Thank you for the wonderful food and service! I will visit more often! I recommend to everyone! You will be very pleased!

This food is DELISH! for a local CA chain, it’s super flavorful and very customizable so it’s great for picky eaters. The main thing about this place though? top notch delicious sauces that add a bomb boost of flavor. Highly recommend checking out (and they have a San Jose location which i also visited and it’s just as great)!

From the second I walked in I felt right at home. This place really is magical. Another reviewer mentioned something about the stretching capabilities of the tortillas and boy, were they not kidding! Truly a divine experience. The staff was very friendly and the other customers all seemed to be enjoying their experience as well. If you want a giant, delicious kebab then come get it!

***DISCLAIMER*** I have lost my sense of taste and smell since coming down with covid a little while ago, so this review will be solely based on texture. I have good memories here as a child. Used to think it was quite magical. Yesterday it was a little less magical. I got the gyro wrap. Meat and fries were just fine— lots of body and very entertaining for my mouth. The tortillas stretching capabilities were impressive as well. My main complaint were the soggy cucumbers. That’s all I know about the situation.

I ordered a lot of food from the Kebab Shop for a banquet this week- I called to ask a few questions and staff was very helpful and detailed. Online ordering was easy and I had no problems. They had all the food ready to go as promised. The food was great- lots of compliments from both the teenagers and the adults at the event. We ordered chicken (both kinds) lamb/beef, falafels, fries, pita, & sauces. Highly recommend them! Only bummer was that they ran out of larger serving utensils so I had to go back home and grab mine. BUT, to their credit, they actually offered to go to a nearby store to buy me some. Very friendly, helpful staff and great food!!

I used to have kebab all the time in Europe. This is the only local place I know that does an amazing job at doing kebab. I go there knowing I'll be having a happy belly no matter what I try. Lately I tried their French fries and pickled pinion: oh my goodness, super rich and delicious! You gotta give it a try once!

This place is so good! I've been looking for a Mediterranean alternative to Luna Grill since they've been skimping on meat and raising prices lately and the quality has been hit or miss. Tried this place and was blown away. All the dishes are customizable, delicious, and they load you up with protein. I really feel like I'm getting a good value for my money here. Also if you are Muslim they have halal offerings. Great place and will definitely be coming back!
