Edited due to clumsy fingers the first time responding (sorry 😬) The restaurant shares the building with a few other businesses, none of which were open. The building overall was well lit, warm & clean. We had been on the road awhile, getting something to eat was becoming a necessity, so we pulled into the next rest stop. We were expecting to settle for cold, pre-packaged sandwiches from a convenience store, so we very happy to find the Roy Rogers was open at all. They exceeded our (admittedly low) expectations. The eat-in space was well maintained, clean & stocked. The workers were very friendly, considerate & efficient, delivering our order quickly and correctly. The food was priced well and was good quality. After our short break, we continued on our road trip, considerably more content than when we had arrived.

Completely a fail. I went here for fried chicken. They were always great for the fried chicken. However the employee stated they ran 𝕆𝕌𝕋 of chicken at 6pm and turned off the ovens and this was at 8pm So even though it closes at 9pm they didn't feel the need to put more chicken on. Not even chicken sandwiches or nuggets or anything chicken. He did say they had a lot of Mac and cheese. Yay? They did have beef and fish. But that was a total let down. The roast beef sandwich was overcooked. The employee who dipped it in the liquid probably had the setting too high. The beef was dry as hell with no condiments to put on top of it. At least I didn't see any (or offered any). They barely had any napkins at one dispenser. The bag that my sandwich was in wasn't even branded, it was a cheap brown paper bag. Now I could care less about the bag but I started to think this restaurant isn't a good place if they are cheaply run at everything. I personally don't think I'll be stopping by here anytime soon. So neither should you. On a side note, the employees seemed decent and attentive. They were trying to get all the orders from the 3-4 different sets of customers behind me. Wʜᴏ ᴀʟʟ ᴡᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ ℂℍ𝕀ℂ𝕂𝔼ℕ!

They were out of roast beef, so I had a chicken sandwich. At a roast beef sandwich place. Amazing. Now, I will say the chicken itself wasn't bad, but I didn't care for the sauce. Did I mention they were out of roast beef? Ah, the pleasures of being trapped on a turnpike with contract consession vendors...

This place thoroughly traumatized my digestive system, unfortunately. I eat a lot of sketchy food and this service area restaurant didn't strike me as sketchy so I wasn't too worried. The restaurant itself and the dining area was clean. Workers seemed friendly. Food tasted okay. But I have been struck with some crazy food poisoning. I mean seriously, I've been vomiting and having diarrhea for almost 12+ hours now. The only other thing I ate all day was two cliff bars about 7 hours before eating here. My existence today has been traumatic to say the least and maybe it was a one time fluke but I shall not be partaking in Roy Rogers again.

The cashier was very unprofessional and yes she is rude! The food is not hot ! And very bad customer service at this particular place! And these worker's including the ,Cashier needs to be retrained in how to become a leader in customer service ,And her position as being a cashier, She is not knowledgeable about her position at this particular time at this location only! And I do approve my post message! This incident happened on 6/7/22 Be careful visiting this location at this site!! ( Seriously) in pa state.

The beef didn't taste like beef. Plain beef sandwich, regular fries and a soda cost over $14!! I never go to Roy Roger's by choice, but I needed to eat and the next spot was 26 miles down the turnpike. The only other option here was a very sad looking pizza stand. I hate the services on the turnpike.

My buger wasn't cook all the way through. They didn't and they extra condiment to put on your sandwich. Was out of tops to all the cups. They didn't have any chicken even tenders. I was the only person in line an 2 of the employees walk away to the back and starting talking about they was going to do once they get off and cussing.

We love Roy Roger's roast beef sandwiches, and these were delicious. We always stop here whenever we use the turnpike. The beef was a little more done than we prefer, but still tasty. We like it better on the rare and pink side. It was very clean, and super quick. It's in a rest stop, so you can also get Starbucks, lottery tickets and gas.
