Jimmy John's

If possible, go to the other Jimmy John's in Elmhurst .. this location makes mistakes and seems like the bread is stale a few times, but the food is always decent so just tolerated. However, today ordered a sandwich through the app and went to the store to pick up .. and they closed an hour earlier! Worse, I stood by the door confused for 5 minutes as the app already charged my credit card but the employees inside just ignored .. a simple explanation would have sufficed. Ten minutes later got the email from Jimmy John's saying the order was cancelled .. definitely "freaky fast" to take the money, but not so much for customer service.

Delivery took about 40 minutes and the drink that came with my meal was completely filled with ice. Amount of actual liquid in the drink was enough for a couple of sips. Also ordered an original tuna, but was given a little john instead... It's evident with all the recent bad reviews that something has to change with the way this location is run.

I just paid $10 for a favorite sadwhich. Number 13. After delivery and tip, everything was closer to $15. My sandwich had 3 pieces of ham, 2 pieces of bacon, and 2 pieces of cheese. All lightly sprinkled with lettuce. What a rip off. Slim sandwich, hardly any meat. I’ve never gotten a sandwich THIS bad before.

Placed an order through doordash and the store called me back to say they were closed. Never got a refund. Doordash says it has to be resolved with the store itself. I have called countless times and only talked to an actual person once but they said they weren't the manager and I'd get a call back. Never got the call back. Have called several times since, can't even get someone on the phone. Beware ordering from this store as they have robbed me of about $30.

Last week I placed an online order to be picked up for a group of people. The order was placed in a box and was told everything was there. Trusting this, didn't bother to double check. While distributing the items, there was a missing item. I sent an email to Jimmy John's and got a response back saying someone would be contacting the store and would get back to me very soon at the number I provided. Didn't hear back. I tried calling over the weekend and left a detailed voice message. Nobody called back. It's now been 5 days later and not a peep. I still have the receipt and provided the order number. Not only is it not okay to be missing an item that was paid for, but then to be blown off by Jimmy John's customer service. I will not spend money at a business that shows no regard for their customers when an error occurs on their end.

I should have looked at the reviews at this location they only give you two pieces of meat for a nine dollar sandwich not cool so I ask for extra meat which were two more pieces and he charge me two dollars more so I paid $12 for a wheat bread sandwich and he was very rude and mean a guy with glasses 🤓
