The pho is soooo worth it. I had the large for 16 (after tax) and it came with so much meat I finished all before I realized I didn't take a picture. Will come back.

Support local family owned businesses! I highly recommend their banh mis (vietnamese sandwich). Very affordable, great portion size, and delicious. I love that they have a fish cake option for those who are pescatarian or trying to eat less meat. Bring cash if you can, but they accept card.

I've been going to Pho Bac for years...the food is consistently great, consistently inexpensive, and made with consistent high quality ingredients. Even post-pandemic, when so many restaurants upped their prices beyond inflation rates, Pho Bac went for just a small increase. Some of the reviews of Pho Bac say its "no frills," what they mean is that it's a local restaurant, it's not meant for business dinners or for fine dining. It doesn't have expensive decor. There's no bar, no wine menu, no alcohol. (Plenty of great fruit juices though...try the passion fruit juice) It does have a great atmosphere though, the type of atmosphere that builds when its customers care about it and have history with it. (It also has a great 1950s neon sign. :)) If you are a visitor to New York City, Pho Bac is off the beaten track, but worth it if you want great Vietnamese good in a diverse and multiethnic neighborhood typical of Queens. Go to Pho Bac for great affordable food, for neighborhood and community atmosphere, and to support independent restaurants. Isn't all that frill enough?

Food is great, the Vietnamese spring rolls are the best. The Pho is very good and I love the rice vermicelli noodles with the BBQ pork.

Food came out super duper fast and service was great. Vietnamese iced coffee was good, pho was good but pork chop a little tough, spring rolls were delicious, pork banh mi was very disappointing and I do not recommend. I wouldn’t say this is a hidden gem, but it is a cheap meal!

Soooo good 😍 ordered 12$ large pho soup number 30 with everything + meatballs inside, portioned really big so had to take the rest home, would definitely come back again, lots of topping and sauces to eat with 😋✨

I’m speaking as a general pho hater🤣 And this is my FAVORITE pho place so far! Pho is usually not something I enjoy since the noodles become soft without texture in the hot soup as the time goes. However, they have noodles that are slightly more chewy and do not break easily! 🥢I had the small (which is still big for me..) beef pho. The soup was really rich and you may taste all kinds of beef part. As I mentioned above. The noodles were still kinda chewy even if I ate slow. I also got a flan to end my meal.. it was not like super best but still delicious! U can know it was homemade with simple ingredients. No artificial taste in it. Recommend it if u want to have a “home-taste” Asia sweet.

Been a regular here for years. This venue always presents delicious broth (pho) with its fresh vegetables in affordable price. My go-to-place when I need a nice delicious hot soup. My usual order is no 22, Pho Tai, pho with rare beef, with extra beef on the side. Couple of days ago, I went there, so glad that nothing change or any reduce of quality & quantity in the portion. At this time when all groceries price goes up, this place still serves best pho in a right price. For the service, long ago 1 server gave attitude in serving, I complained directly to the owner. The owner was nice, apologized & fixed the issue right away. After that whenever I come here, never have any issue. This location has a big parking lot, though it’s shared with other venues. At the end, all I can say, this is the best pho in Elmhurst!
