I have had local ice-cream. People around New Castle PA. Love Forbush's ice cream. It's good, don't get me wrong, but compared to Barry's. It's not worth the wait. We go there almost every weekend. I will make the drive to Elwood every time when I want ice-cream. You can tell the difference in the quality in the ingredients. Best ice-cream so far at this point in my life I have ever had. Can't say enough good things about there ice-cream. Love there homemade milkshake, and homemade ice-cream cake. I get one every year for my birthday. You will not regret the tip if you go there.

A summer without Barry's is like a day without sunshine! I'm really not sure how Barry's could score less than 5 stars. Whether it's an after-game, after -camping, after-school, or after eating ice cream somewhere else (don't judge me) Barry's makes summertime complete. Seriously, you should go there right now!
