New favorite place to eat! Great food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. I had the BLT, very yummy! My husband had the club sandwich and said it was the best club sandwich he has had in the Ellsworth area. Went back for breakfast this weekend and it was very good. My husband loved the breakfast burrito. Nice to have a good place to eat on our side of town!
Just finished breakfast and we loved it! We sat on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful morning. My husband always tries the sausage gravy and biscuits his first time at a breakfast restaurant and he’s usually disappointed. But not today! “It was one of the top 5 biscuit and gravy breakfasts of my lifetime!” I had the breakfast burrito and absolutely loved it! The renovation is beautiful and we enjoyed our meal. Will be back for sure!
Fantastic lunch for a family of 4. Ahi tuna steak burgers, pastrami melt, and a burger. Fries, onion rings, and sesame dressing on a house salad were all great compliments to the main course.
After the meal, the unique selection of snacks was amazing, too. The restroom was clean and well stocked for our long drive ahead. Thanks!
I say this as a born and raised New Jersey man, land of the diners: this was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. We went two days in a row, getting almost the exact same thing each day. It has been over a month and I’m still thinking about those home fries. The sandwiches were also delicious and were a real treat to enjoy as we hiked through Acadia. Food was great, service and people were great, I’m telling everyone that I know that’s going to Acadia National Park that they have to have breakfast at Josie’s along the way.
Food, while a bit expensive, is very good. It tastes delicious, have tried multiple items from the menu and never been disappointed. The cake, the burgers, the fries, the salad - would recommend any of it. The food stands out here quite notably, and is better than most places in town.
Other than that, also good. Owner is friendly, location is convenient, not much to say. Would recommend.
It looks like it just a convenience store, but they make an awesome breakfast! Service was great and so was the food. Both the breakfast burrito and classic breakfast plate were both well done. Their Rye toast was out of this world. Inside there was a huge selection of wine, beer, and snacks. Really glad we gave it a chance!

Don’t miss this restaurant on your Acadia trip. Every item we ordered off the menu was fantastic and I’m certain you can order any dish and it will be great. I was really impressed with the expansive food and drink menu, the food, and the desserts. Best restaurant!
1st Time Visit this evening. We were greeted warmly upon entry and immediately shown to our seats on the back deck. Our waitress was there instantly, offering drinks and menus. Appetizers and food arrived in a timely manner. We had the Pastrami Sandwich Platters. The meal was hot, ample and out of this world delicious! That sandwich was crazy-good. Don't know What they do to their fries...! Seasoned to perfection and bubbly crispy. Wow. Best Meal we've had out in Ages!
Friendly, Relaxed Atmosphere. Clean. Plenty of parking. We will Definitely make the drive back.

Food was fantastic, not at all what I was expecting from a place lumped in with a country store. The salmon and veggies were cooked to perfection and had great surprisingly good flavor. My wife said the chicken salad crossaunt sandwich was far better and more filling then she expected. She was also very pleased that they had Boba drinks that were very well done and in a wide variety of flavors. Prices were very reasonable especially considering the quality. The environment sitting outside was clean and well kept with a decent view out back. My father got the steak and as everything else it surprised us with how good it was! The only thing that confused us a little was after you are done you go inside to pay, we sat at the table for a while waiting for our check before watching some other patrons just get up after they were done, not a huge deal though, at least we weren't rushed out the door. We will be going back again for sure!
Wow! Some of the best quality freshest food we have had in a long time. Huge variety of items with Asian twist. Yum. The fries were excellent best I've had in quite a while. The menu also contains many traditional American fare too.
This is a great place to go if you have a large group. They have excellent cocktails. The food is good. I gave 4 instead of 5 because I didn’t care for the amount of mint leaves in my wrap. But everyone else loves their food.
