Sylvia's Cafe - Ellsworth - Photo album

While traveling through the area, we decided to grab some breakfast and then popped into Sylvia’s Cafe without knowing what to expect. It was a Saturday, and the place was packed, but the wait was worth it! We put our name on the waiting list, and it was about a 20 min wait. Although the restaurant
Legendary staple of Ellsworth for years! I started out washing dishes here as a teenager to pay for drivers education when it was located down the hall from the restaurant. Now I take my kids here for delicious breakfast and memories. I always order the #1 and my kids get chocolate chip pancakes. Eg
You better come hungry! Diner style in an odd strip mall, great big breakfasts. Good service, tasty eating.
Amazing diner, in this small town. Will definitely visit again.
4/5 Camp cake with sausage - basically not what we expected. Chopped sausages in pancake batter. Tasted good with some maple syrup and orange marmalade. Would’ve tasted better with bacon I think. Fried Haddock sandwich - it was marked as a local favourite and I can see why. Incredible sandwich! Fr
Excellent service, people were very friendly. We had a large group on a Sunday, so we had about a 40 min wait, as expected. Food was great homemade diner breakfast. Blueberry pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and corn beef hash were our favorite dishes!
We had the Haddock sandwich and special turkey BLT with cranberry mayo. Let’s just say the haddock was amazeballs! Yummy, crisp outside, soft and tender inside. Not often do restaurants get deep frying fish correct. This was perfect! The turkey was fresh sliced turkey breast and the cran-mayo adde
Hot and fresh food. Good variety in menu. Awesome staff with quick service. Food quality is best. Right in the heart of Ellsworth city. You are staying in Ellsworth or planning to visit bar harbor this is the place for delicious breakfast. From pancakes to french toast and varieties of omelettes.
While on vacation, we stopped at Sylvia’s for breakfast. The homemade hash is outstanding! I was very impressed with the entire experience . The waitress was very friendly and efficient. We sat in the area where you can see them cooking. The man and women were soooo on point with each other and
The food was great, with the exception of the home fries. If they had been seasoned at all when cooked, it would have all been great. The cheesesteak omlette was great! The Cafe is clean, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend!
Went in with the family. Was served very fast friendly waitress. And the food was good. I'd recommend going if you want a good diner style restaurant... and the lemonade was one of the best I've ever had
Small restaurant inside, but food was worth it. Drinks were brought out quickly! The whole family had a variety of items and they were all delicious from bagel sandwich, to omelet and the scrambler.
I was blown away by the people that work here. My pregnant wife was feeling very sick while we were eating and the servers rallied and took such amazing care of both of us. I can not speak enough to their kindness. Plus, their crab roll was better than anything you'd get in bar harbor
Hometown vibes - really good home made corned beef hash - really hit the spot!🔥🔥
We love to support local businesses when we travel. This a wonderful local breakfast spot, staff was on POINT! Food was delicious 😋
Very friendly service with pretty good breakfast spreads available. Enjoyed my meal here.
food is pretty cheap and pretty good, classic breakfast/lunch spot with a breakfast challenge. Not much else to say. Give it a go if you're in the area.
Best place around for food and awesome service. Perfect breakfasts, fast and courteous staff, worth the ride!
