Chuck Wagon Restaurant

The Chuck Wagon is Ellingtons brrakfast and lunch jewel!! It is like stepping back in time to a coffee shop from the sixties. The food is outstanding, the waitresses are wonderfully friendly and attentive. Exactly what you want in a small country town restaurant. My favorites are 2 scrambled FLAT with bacon and wheat toast. I say flat because you can also order them fluffy but flat is so tasty! The bacon is thick cut, and tastes amazing (i am not kidding best i have ever had) coffee is excellent. For lunch, my favorite is the turkey club with fries. I usually eat half of it and save the rest for another meal!!! Milkshakes are awesome. Enjoy!!!

Update--- the wagon wheel is still going strong! Just remember it's cash only! Wonderful service with delicious food served quickly at a reasonable price. A really comfortable local place where all the local go. Today our main server, Michelle, had the usual smile on her face as she delivered a beautiful plate of french toast with blueberries. Really nice: the servers all act like a team, backing each other up and looking after the customers! A great local place!!!

What a wonderful little local establishment! The breakfast menu is fantastic and has so many tasty options. This place can get quite busy though so it's best to come on an off day during the week instead of on the weekend or be prepared to wait. Also, they only take cash so make sure you are prepared for that.

My new favorite breakfast place. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the service is fast and friendly, and the food comes out quickly. Other restaurants I can think of could learn a few things from this place. The only down side is it's cash only, but they do have an ATM in case you forget to bring cash.

Excellent Breakfast! We're from Long Island and had been here a couple months ago while visiting friends. While coming up to see those same friends for their wedding weekend we were determined to make another trip the Chuck Wagon! Love the old style atmosphere with the cou ter service and seeing the cooks actually cooking your meal. The waitresses are all really nice, sometimes the cash only thing gets annoying but the food is worth making sure you have cash on you!
