We decided to stop here for lunch while enjoying our weekend getaway in Ellijay. Great location on the downtown circle. We were seated immediately and chose to eat on the enclosed porch area. It was cold outside this day, and sat near the edge of the porch. It was a bit drafty, but still a nice table. The enclosure made the acoustics a bit loud on the outside deck. The service was good. Our server told us the soup and special of the day, and made a few recommendations. I can't recall her name, but do remember that she was left-handed (so am I). I ordered the potato soup and grilled cheese with bacon on a crossaint roll. The soup was a bit grainy, but had a nice thickness and flavor. I do not recommend getting the grilled cheese on crossaint rolls. They invert the bread and grill it. Just didn't work for me. Further, I expected more cheese for a three-cheese sandwich than what I got. It's not bad, but I think it was more of something that was not to my taste than anything else. I am definitely not afraid to give this place another try!

We stopped here just to have some appetizers before we went out for our main. Definitely recommend the chicken and wild soup. Was very thick, Hot and super good for the soul . The desserts are absolutely gorgeous and huge. Very family friendly and the staff has that old southern hospitality going on. Thank you for having us!

My fiancée and I stopped here for a little lunch date. Ashlee was our waitress and she was so incredibly sweet. The atmosphere was very cozy. The soups and sandwiches were delish! My only regret is not buying dessert while I was there too, but I will definitely be back for it.

Great lunch spot! Nice atmosphere- decor is upscale, didn’t have a cheesy diner vibe & was very clean. Food was delicious & fairly priced! Soups were seasoned really well and tasted homemade. Sandwiches were packed full of meat & also had great flavor + good portion sizes. Our waitress was friendly and really served us- didn’t have to flag her down for anything & she didn’t seem annoyed by our presence. This is our 2nd visit to Ellijay from out of state and of all the little restaurants we’ve tried we had the best service + best food/value of all the places we tried!

After my friends and I came all the way to Elijay for apple picking, we stopped by Cantaberry for lunch. It was pretty busy inside and we had a 15-20 minute wait before coming back to the restaurant. For some reason they were only serving the lunch menu all day, which featured sandwiches, burgers, and salads. I got the Reuben sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup, and I was caught off guard about how the bowl of soup was more like a big saucer of soup 😱. The sandwich and soup were both delicious with large servings, and the meal had some pretty good value. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the perfect fall weather, and service was very friendly and prompt for how busy it was.

After many unsuccessful attempts to go here for lunch, we were finally successful. We tried the House Salad and Whole Sandwich with Salad Combo. We chose the Classic Pastrami and Swiss with the Apple Pecan Spinach Salad. The sandwich was packed full of meat and had a great flavor. The salad was also delicious! The House Salad was straightforward, but make sure to try the oil and vinegar dressing if you get it. The oil is AMAZING! This is a nice little deli and a great choice for lunch.

Popped in for lunch after walking around town. Sat out on the patio which was very nice and you have a view of the small town square. My waitress was very personable , nice and very attentive. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich , the bread was fresh and soft and the meat , cheese and peppers were very good. I liked that they added sweet red peppers , it made all the difference in the taste. It was delicious. Also had a salad that was very fresh. I would definitely return.

We had a decent lunch here. Everything we ordered was good. Portions on some things seemed a little small, while others were quite large. It was busy and things mostly moved pretty smoothly. Our waitress seemed to get busy cleaning things up a few times. Oddest part was the hostesses. Our little girl saw the crayons they have up front and asked for one. We were told they have crayons and no paper - not an issue. But after we were sat we had to ask for a children's menu which is printed on a sheet of paper with things to color... Overall a mostly good meal.

Cute mountain restaurant with plenty of sandwich options. Fries and tots were fresh and tasty. I thought the pimento burger could have used more pimento cheese. BLT was pretty tasty, not to fancy but great for the price point. I would try the outdoor seating next time if the weather is nice. You can sit almost directly on the roundabout! Great location.
