This is an older Flying J, therefore you can't expect a large modern facility. It only has four diesel pumps and the dirt lot needs repair but it's free parking. I arrived late in the afternoon and there was still plenty of room when all other truck stops west on I-90 were packed full.
The store has a good selection of truck items and nick-nacks with a hot food box at the cash register counter.
When I first entered the restaurant I wasn't expecting much in the way of good food because, as I said, this is an older place and somewhat worn. But was I ever surprised! They had a large selection of food on the menu and the spaghetti and meatballs that I ordered was delicious. The restaurant is clean and the waitress and cook were very attentive and friendly.
If you want a quiet place to park, good food and decent prices this Flying J is the place. I'm definitely coming back.
The place is not really much to write home about but with my honest opinion, as usual it's not too bad. His name is Mister Chris and he literally hose down and bleach the showers! I feel so clean when I know that he's here working and making sure that the showers are very much clean because there are some very, very nasty, no clean truck drivers out there.
Besides one of the cashiers being rude and thinking that I'm going to steal I put her in check and let her know, 'I am too blessed.... honey'!

- Potholes (some are so big that I thought they had move Lake Superior into some of the parking spot) .parking lot NEEDS to be repaired!!!!!*****
- Hard place to park a semi because of the non-existent lines in the parking lot
Newly remodeled! Looks great 👍.... I almost didn't know where I was. I'm mid-life been going here my entire life when passing through. Awesome job guys! 👏 I appreciate the nice change here it was a great surprise to me..
Stopped for gas. They had plenty of food and snacks. Reasonably priced items there. Plenty of parking for cars and trucks, or rv's. Gas was reasonable here.
AWESOME! I love truck stops like this! I got some novelty items and the diner inside the Plaza has AWESOME food and they give you large portions!!
There is also an arcade inside that had me playing street fighter like I did back in the late 80s...This truck stop brought some nostalgia back for me!!!! Can't Wait to come back...I was actually sad when I left
I like this place, they have a laundry room and a CAT scale, a good restaurant, and tons of grab and go hot food. Driver's lounge, showers, and the usual truck supplies
