A colleague of mine recommended this place and I decided to book reservations for my mother’s birthday. We were a party of 6. The fish, kimchi, and rib tips you get as a starter were so delicious! I got the beef soup and it had the perfect amount of spice. I also ordered the fried dumplings I believe they were veggie, that was also pretty tasty. I loved that there were also shades that separated the tables.

The best soft tofu pot ever! Their pork spicy tofu pot and the mixed spicy tofu pot our my personal favorites. My non Asian friends love the seafood and beef non spicy soft pot. I tried their other menu items like Tonkatsu and Ttukboki and they were also excellent. The portion sizes were very generous and they were very tasty. We travel almost an hour for their tofu pots and the experience never disappoints!

This is one of my favorite restaurants for Korean tofu soup. I always get the same thing whenever I come here, their mixed soondubu soup. They usually start you off with a bunch of side dishes. About 3 shades side dishes usually consist of kimchi, marinated spicy cucumbers, marinated tofu or if you lucky you might get beef short ribs. Everyone gets their own whole fish side dish and a salad. My favorite side dish is definitely the fried fish, beef short ribs and marinated tofu. If it’s your first time having soondubu as soon as the soup arrives at your table crack the raw egg into the soup while is still hot so it can cook it in the soup. The mixed soondubu comes with mussels, clams, oysters shrimp and beef. It is very reasonable priced for the amount of food you get. I always walk out full and satisfied. The place is very clean and you get your food pretty quick.

I came here this past Saturday and left with a good impression for the most part. The kids area is closed because of covid, the staff are wearing masks and all the waters are bottled generic costco water. The portions were good for the food, and they have a unique menu than any of the other korean restaurant in the area. The prices are egregious though. The LA Galbi is not worth $28 and vegetable japchae is not worth $19, especially since it's vegetable. Overall, the taste was good, the price was expensive, parking was plenty, the service was good and attentive, I would come here again, but not often.

Really good Korean food. The wait staff is fast and friendly. I do however have a complaint. As a non Korean who grew up around Koreans, you can see that they don't try to be as inclusive when it comes to their authentic dishes. For example, I ordered stone pot rice specifically for the crunchy bits but instead they gave me just plain white rice. I had to beg my waiter for the crispy rice. They apologized but it make me wonder if Gaijins are truly welcomed here. One more thing, the Kimchi is a bit too young for my liking.

Wish we had known about this place sooner. Very good food, rivals the best of those in Los Angeles area, if not better. All the ordered dishes were well balanced with deep flavor of authentic Korean food. Dumpling (home made) and rice cake soup had very tasty dumplings in rich soup base. Spicy Pork was no different - rich, flame-cooked flavor and ple portion (photo is after about half was eaten). The seafood pancake was crispy outside and soft inside. What made it really good is the base mix that was just right. Definitely the best Korean restaurant in Philadelphia.

First time having Korean food outside of bbq and wings, quite a delicious treat, the spice levels were awesome, definitely recommend the hot stone skillet entrees portions are huge and very tasteful served sizzling hot, and very cute resturant layout definitely worth going here again

Have been coming to Dubu for the past 8 years. Absolutely love it! My favorite go to dishes are seafood pancake, dumplings, tteokbokki, seafood soondubu, and galbi. The flavors are so on point 😋
