The Chalet

Nice tucked away restaurant, have always driven past and was on the to try list, so finally we did last night for my birthday! My family all enjoyed their dishes (steak, burger walleye, and Lamb) and the ambiance was very delightful. Our server was very polite and friendly even surprised us with a lovely sweet treat! We look forward to coming back, the steaks were 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We had a great experience at this place, the waitress /Terry was sweet and attentive, the atmosphere cozy and the meal excellent. We ate the oysters Rockefeller very good, seafood bisque florentine- good/a bit thick but tasty none the less, lamb shank - very good and I save the best for last - bronzed salmon /OMGOSH !!!!!! Absolutely - bar none, TO. DIE.FOR. We told Terry - plate lickin good. 😆😉 Thank you for fulfilling a beautiful date night for us. Mike and Melinda Rhodes

Always looking for the next best fish fry and the "all you can eat" fare. This one particular didn't disappoint. This fish was "blue" roughy, one of the more tender flaky seafoods. You are offered 3 different types of potatoes, including English fries which are awesome. Also included is coleslaw and hush puppies. They have fried and baked. We opted for the fried. Very good! When requesting a second serving of fish, we had to wait a bit; but they gave us free dessert for this mild inconvenience. All in all, delicious and servers were friendly.

First time here wow, cute place, I ordered the shrimp I had to order it grilled with nothing on it. Well I got the shrimp and it was fried, the waitress was so sorry she gave me a free dessert and a new plate of awesome grilled shrimp I thought the potato pancakes were awesome. The soup was very good too, my boyfriend had the new York strip he thought it was great. He had a jack and coke and it was strong. We loved our waitress she was so funny. We will be back

We always pass by this place and comment "we should eat there sometime". So glad we stopped. I had the roasted eggplant and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere quaint and authentic. Worth giving it a try if you're looking for another place to go out to eat. I'm going back to try something else from the menu.

My wife had the eggplant with goat cheese and fresh tomatoes, it was excellent. I had the lamb shank and it was very tasty. We felt the presentation was good as well. They served an excellent carrot cake for dessert which was free for my wife's birthday. Staff/owners and servers are cordial and friendly.
