We had an excellent breakfast today. I had some really tasty biscuits and gravy. My wife had some big fluffy pancakes. Our son had a beautiful looking and flavorful chicken fried steak and our grandson had some chicken fingers, even they were made very well. The service was excellent. They even had Mrs. Claus there today to entertain the kids and Mrs. Clause even handed out stocking with present for all the good kids. (Hint-they were all very good kids) In other words, everyone at the restaurant made us feel special. It is what I love about neighborhood restaurants.

Well folks, I'm still on my quest to find a great breakfast place. This place has GREAT customer service. The food, unfortunately, is just ok. I'd certainly give them a try again in the future, but not anytime soon. What I'd recommend, make your own biscuits for starters. There are plenty of great recipes out there and you'd probably spend less than buying them frozen and reheating. I got the Keto Hash dish and it was like there was too much going on within the dish. Sometimes less is best. Focus on elevating a single flavor and compliment it with a couple of things max. Overall, I believe this restaurant is close to being a great place. Customer Service was amazing, so the good just needs to follow the amazing standard as well.

Some of the worst tasting chicken fried steak I had ever had. Rubbery with a strong hint of liver. The breading wasn’t fried all the way and the seasoning was salty as can be. The potatoes that came with it looked and tasted like they had been reheated in a microwave. There was hardly any gravy and what was there was watery, flavorless, and fresh from a discount store 10¢ packet. The seating was somehow so open yet felt so crowded, I felt like I was eating at a homeless shelter. The wait staff was very accommodating and polite so credit where credit was due. I can’t imagine why this place has 4.5 stars. Save a complete redesign of both menu and seating I don’t think I could stomachs eating here again. 1/10 wish I had eaten at Taco Bell for my birthday breakfast.

So had breakfast there this morning. The customer service has good aspects and some troubling ones. There were enough staff visible for 2 tables per person, but it took so long for our orders to be taken. The coffee runners were so zealous that they would ask for a top off so often it actually interrupted conversations. We had avocado toast, eggs Benedict and chicken fries steak. The toast was delicious. The Benedict was average. The steak was awful. It was tough and not tender. The breading was underdone. The gravy was salty and gross with no substance, just white goo. Worst chicken fried steak I ever had.
