I came here to try some new Chinese food. I've seen it a couple times. It's a pretty cool little Chinese food restaurant. The customer service is pretty nice. They were pretty thorough and were pretty busy when I went but did there best to be quick. They also serve ice cream so if you're feeling for ice cream instead or both its a plus. One of our dishes was wrong but it wasn't too off so wasn't the biggest problem. I think overall the food was pretty good too.

Sorry to go against the masses here but we were disappointed after reading all the great reviews. Went basic with pork fried rice and a pair of egg rolls. The egg rolls tasted as though the oil had been used a bit too long. Although the egg rolls themselves weren't burnt, the flavor tasted burnt or a little bitter. As for the pork fried rice, it was quite greasy and also suffered from the same kind of burnt flavor. I will say they do pack a lot of bbq pork in there which is nice to see. The service was fast and friendly but we will be trying a few other Elgin spots before we return. Just one couple's opinion.
