Big Apple Bagels

Super clean super good. After we ordered I noticed a big line had formed behind us, they got everybody helped and that line was gone within the next 5 mins. The girls working here are super sweet and the food is so so good. Perfect breakfast place. Just visiting but if we come back I definitely wanna come here.

I love coming here for breakfast! The food is amazing everytime I do. Customer service has always been good too. Its a weird ordering process to get used to. Reminds me of subway, if that helps. Pricing its a little expensive for a bagel, but the food delivers everytime and makes up for it. The restaurant is always clean besides normal dirtiness from lots of customers. I will continue to keep coming here.

If you can't decide what you want, if breakfast, lunch or brunch then this is the place to come to. They have a variety of bagels and multiple choices of cream cheese. Don't get me started on the variety they have on muffins!! From chocolate to fruity cream cheese! Their hot breakfast sandwiches are also delicious and very filling!

I typically would give this place a 5star but today was just not up to par I come here very often before I start my shift of the day as a healthcare worker and normally service is wonderful with excellent customer service!,However the morning staff today on Friday February 04/2022 was very rude,rolling eyes when taking peoples orders not asking the appropriate questions when someone grabs a bagel .it was just sad to see it happen in front of me. I understand mornings can be hard and stressful but when there’s only 2 people in the store you don’t give attitude when taking a order and roll eyes . really hope to see better in the near future ! (:

First time at this place. We are from Rockford area and have not had Big Apple Bagels around here for many years. I always liked BAB and missed them when they closed out here. Was pleasantly surprised to find this location in Elgin. Food was fast and great. Service was EXCELLENT! When I say that, it's not a throwaway line. The lady that waited on us, wow. I have not felt "served" like that for years. On top of that, no opportunity was presented for me to tip on my credit card. I found that ironic because so many other places, you get "meh" level service but they are prompting you to leave a 20% tip. I went back and dropped some cash in the tip jar. Nobody noticed - because they were all busy providing great service to OTHER customers. Keep up the good work. We will be back!

I've come here quite often. The bagels, the breakfast sandwiches, muffins and coffees are always great. BUT the customer service is a hit or miss. BUT since I really like the bagels I just put up with it. Like I said hit or miss on the attitudes. One time, I was going into the ice cream shop and this little brat thought I was going into Big Apple Bagels and closed the door on us. I was like wth ok!?!? So she literally closed up early.
